I really hate them.
But hopefully the board come through this summer. Already in: Hummels, Hazard, Muller... looking for the funds to get Rooney. I love that I have Benzema and Higuain and yet I'm going for Rooney. I'm thinking like Madrid already!

I played a season as Madrid (on FM10). I was lucky and won the treble (Barca wasn't as dominant as in your game). I managed to keep on a good roll in the league where different players pulled through during the different games (I watched them all on Key Highlights and the hardest part was getting the first goal).
I played a 4-4-2. I actually wanted to play a classic 4-4-2 with a world class team and Real had the best players suited for it IMO. Higuain poacher, Kaka deep lying forward, Ronaldo + Marcelo wingers, X Alonso playmaker, L Diarra defensive mid, Vargas and Sergio Ramos attacking fullbacks. Ronaldo is the most dominant player in the game IMO, he is selfish but at any point when he has the ball he can dribble past the whole team and score you a goal. My plan was to move him as Poacher (his attributes are amazing for a striker) for the season after and get Hazard as RM. Marcelo also scored some crucial goals for me.
I actually wanted to continue it and get the best player in the world in each position (Rooney is the best deep lying forward, Kaka 2nd ~in 2010) but I knew I couldn't get Messi as my LW and each of the other players cost around $100 million so I knew it would take more than one season to buy them so I gave up on it. I ended up signing Fabregas to take over X Alonso's spot.

About Ronaldo, absolutely. I think he won Goal of the Month something like 4 or 5 months in a row. It's either him dribbling past the entire other team or blasting one in from 35 yards. I play a style a lot like the German National Team; in fact I think that was my goal for this particular game. Anyway, I'm making a play for Rooney this summer, he responds well to my interest in the press, and if the club gives me a ****load more money than I expect I'll also go in for Chiellini. I have to find a long term replacement for Xabi Alonso (I've been using Canales, but I can't use him when I use 2 DMs for tough road games, but I can probably stand to wait a year), and David Silva is on the transfer list, so I might go after him to replace Kaka as the primary backup for Ozil.

******* Rooney and his piece of **** agent. Gonna have to go for Plan B: Sergio Aguero; only problem is he has a 2 month injury and doesn't want to come across town. Plus I have Higuain and Benzema and would want to sell one if I got Aguero. Maybe next year.

Any idea for a Xabi Alonso long term replacement? Andrea Poli? Thiago re-upped with Barca right before his contract expired. Maybe Sahin, and he's in Russia right now, so he'll probably get homesick soon enough.

Yeah, I need a deep lying playmaker who can hold position as a DM for tough road games; I'm more than happy with Ozil as AMC. I'm also having problems with this super gay 25 player rule.
