Football at danger!!!

The thread name also could have been 'PES series' at danger, but this one stresses the realism... what I'm trying to say is that the only football simulation that was so good and real is in a wrong street.
What gives me the right to say this? I've been playing PES and WE for 5,6 years intensively, and this means at least 5 times a week. After getting WE10 I wrote a short description of what i've seen after 5,6 matches, and that I need more time to tell exactly what's going on, how the game is actualy... After playing some 300 matches this past month, this is my opinion:

1.game speed sucks... the players and the ball movement is simply too fast, it's an up and down rush

2.advantage given to the strikers, driblings, and the power to get passed the defener is so screwed up that many times you don't stand a chance to get close to the ball, although positioned well, you get pushed to the side, ran over...

3.refs criteria changes a lot from match to match, which is real... but... in two different matches you have criteria so different that in many cases gets you so many cards, and players sent off that it makes no sense. Yes, the rough fouls now do get punished, but criteria changes make it impossible to know which style to apply.

4.keepers... they are off to ruin almost every second game with their 'saves'... every strike towards the keeper end up rebounded... and it looks silly, because they are positioned quite well: they simply bend their knees and act as little child when you throw them the ball for the first time.

5.shooting... what's wrong you people at konami?! You have to miss 5 clear chances before scoring... you get to miss so many chances that it makes you brake not only the joysticks...

... I'm saying all this based on the number of shots per game, which has increased by a 100%, and scores... now we have scores close to fifa, like, minimum goals per game is 5!!! And many times we play 2 vs 2 multiplayer matches... we, all 30 and over hard core players agree, the game is not good!!!

Please, someone... will this improve in the PES6, or, will we have to change stats, like in PES2, to get the proper feeling and realism?!?!?!!??!

1. Game speed is fast on PS2 for me but it was fast in PES5 to. I am sure PES6 will be god on that aspect for PC.

2. Fast players like Messi, I agree as defenders we have no chance taking them 1-1 so do like in real life. TAKE THE DEEP.

3. This is very good. You have to start carefully to see how the ref is. Just like real games. Just like my real games (I play in real too) sometimes our agressive players go for 100% right at start and get booked. Instead start a little slow to see how the ref is putting his limits. Perfect.

4. You seem very bad at finishing. It was like that for me too in PES5, just train finishing and beat the keepers. They have very nice animations but a good finish gets a good goal. If you miss, its not a good enough finish.

5. Like I said, you need to train. Free mode is a good advice. Some players play 1000 games and are still noobs. Some people was the best in the World in PES4 but just average in PES5. Maybe you just won't be good in PES6 or you just have trained and developed invidually wrong.

What I am unhappy with is players doing shot feints and stuff automaticly. Anyways I am sure PES6 will be very good. Like PES5 was better then WE9 so will PES6 compared to WE10.

The game doesn't feel right... that's the problem. It's not about how good or bad I am. The biggest problem is the keepers and the defending, and I have to point it out again!A friend calls me yesterday, after playing the Champions league mode for the first time, frustrated, says I just felt like taking it out and putting PES5 back in! He's sreeming, what's wrong with the keepers, how do I defend?! You get so many stupid goals that it hurts. This is not about knowing or not knowing how to play, since we've been with the series for years, and I told you, we are all over 30. It's just that the very basic things have been completely screwed up!

from what i've heard, PES 6 is a completely different game from WE10, as WE10 is going to be more end-to-end and more "fifa" like to appeal to the american and japanese audiences who are more interested in seeing goal after goal than having a realistic football experience

Is there a demo out already or some kind of review, I would love to see it. I can't stand this game any more. I mean, it's almost fine when you play alone vs cpu,the AI play is balanced, and players position and move well, keeping the formation... but once you play one on one, or two on two, it turns into a complete arcade!

I played winning eleven 10 And i must say that you have no chance to get the ball off the dribbling player .

And for the shooting thing Try to shoot with weak players (not the lampard, gerrard type)

That's utter crap. What on earth do you base that opinion on? Because a mate told you or you read it on the internet?

Grow a f***ing brain before posting utter sh1t.

Do you have WE10 to say what you said :kader: ? I'd second TristanAbbott7's post reading your post.

Last night I played vs a friend... we used to have very close games in PES series, scores like 1:0, 1:1. Now, we had, 3:1, 5:1..., the number of shots per game more then doubled. That's what's most worrying. Almost every attack ends up with a chance and an open shot. It's almost impossible to block the forwards. We then played vs cpu,a European cup. The game is so good, the matches so tight, that it makes me wonder if this game was made for individual plays or what!?One on one it is definitely not good, multiplay, two on two is completely unplayable, scores go up to 5:4 or like that!!!We've all been with the series for years, and this has never happened, only in PES2 as I recall, when we had to take of player marks! You judge if it's end to end stuff, but it's definitely not right!
