Football Kingdom 2005?

I remember last year someone posted this game on the WE/PES forums because it doesn't have it's own, it appears as if they have another version of the game this year...here's the link to the video clips that demonstrate improvements.....enjoy

I seen it last year and though the game was slagged off, might have deserved it??

I though that many of the animations and play (AI) if brought into PES would have made our game even better!

The clip I seen last year was of a player going down the wing, he swings in a across thats bending away and looks to be going to another player running in to the box from the other side. As the ball is passing high over the penalty spot, the keeper is out but running backward and as he does so he leaps up and tips the ball away from the player coming in behind him... looked great and so real!

In pes the keepers come out but you never see them running backwards and in the same move leap backwards to tip the ball away. Most of the keepers in PES come out in a straight line from the middle of the goal and jump up to punch or catch the ball, it was the 1st time I had seen keeper animation like it, I just wish PES could do the same!

Like:

-- how the ball seems to be passed around freely and not on rails like in PES.
-- how there seems to be much more usage of "open space" situations especially on the wings. in PES your wingers can still be not arsed to make any form of intelligent runs.
-- some of the shots: now THATs a curl, Konami. Not this laughable thing you have.
-- the nets, of course... orgasmic.

Don't like:

-- gameplay seems incredibly fast and too action-ladden
-- ball on player foot doesn't feel right. Seems to have some sort of rubberband effect we know from earlier FIFAs

Hope they release it in Europe too and give Konami a run for the money. They (Konami) have been resting on their laurels way too long IMO.

The gameplay from the videos are really fast paced. Really a good alternative if you want to take a break from WE/PES.

I doubt they'll release it for the PC yet. Like the WE/PES series in the past, it's only for the PS2. But who knows maybe in the future. I don't mind, cause I can get it f r my PS2.

The videos look fantastic although there is no telling how it will play. It looks like Namco have come from no where and could pose a serious threat to konami, something that they probably needed. I did a search on Google but I could find nothing else on this game. It looks like it may be ps2 only and only in Japan.

Looks nice as game, promising, but to me is really too fast!

Football is not so fast in real life..
that's why i like to apply "overslow" on PES/WE.
If you want to play pinball ..get Fifa

But it looks really cool that kind of "aftertouch" to the ball,
the openings to the wings.. the way the nets blow with a supershot in
Amazing the goal on free kick after great feint of shot..
And last but not least ..the keeper attempt to save ball.. PES/WE keeper animations don't have this..
..although.. in some clips keeper didn't look much good in his positioning...

Let's see when we can play it on PS2... (for PC i think no way)
playing it is the real test...

Dino Dini's soccer is on the way to come out on PC in early 2006.
on his forum, Dino is very confident about his game development at this time.
it will have total manual control on shots/passes/crosses.
no other info nor screens.

i think these are the same vids they've had up on that page for many months

i keep checking back every now and then because the game certainly has a lot of potential - FK1 was good and i'm really interested to see how it develops

i agree that the overall "freedom" of ball physics seems much better than WE/PES but the football looks too perfect and clean...PES has much more grit and physical battles in midfield

Speed is just CRAZY! Those coloured 'power' bars at the bottom are a bit psychadelic! Would give you a headache after a while.

Looking at all these clips though, it reminds me more of FIFA than PES. Great goals seem just a bit too commonplace.

We can't judge the game from seeing it's videos . Olny a gamer played kingdom and PES can judge the game .

I own FK. I love it and think it's great for blu bottom cd PS2 game.

recently (and i'm talking may 20th or so0 i popped in the game again. It IS a fast paced game,but i did something. i went and edited two teams worth of player speeds. slowed down everyone by a good 20 percent and guess what? It's unbelievable. it's better than WE8LE!!!!!!! You guys need to try it. i might even make an option file. this game is amazing when you slow down the payers speed attributes. Only thing is i don't think a second version is coming out. it's a shame really because if you take the time to tweak the gameplay sliders of the original you'll really see what the games engine is capable of. all those fast passes start looking very lifelike and thegame just unfolds into beauty. seriously.

i give the game even higher regard now.

I played this game too a couple of times and i liked it very much...maybe we/pes and Footbal kingdom have to work together to make a super soccer game! I especially like the action in this game and the super camera views and replay views..while watching the replay you can change the views!NICE GAME!

I really hope they release this version on DVD-Rom. them CD's really strain the lens and the loading times are not good.

I had to take another look this morning and really study these FK vids. The way the passing looks is what I like and would be nice if KONAMI made it a little more like that but that's about it. LOVE KONAMI.
