Yes indeed people, the game of football has got to be the greatest sport ever created! What other sport can play to a Scoreless draw and still be entertaining and exciting?? probably none.
I have seen alot of nil-nil scorelines that a quiet enjoyable to watch and recently that Liverpool vs Everton game look pretty decent eventhough i didnt really watch it but the highlights were good on the eyes. It was a great day for the goalkeepers and me myself once played goalkeeper for 4 yrs really do appreciate a great save now and again. There has been other great scoreless games but the one i remember most was last year's super classico with Riverplate v.s Boca Juniours:o that game had everything and just when i was about to witness the greatest 0 to 0 game ever!!!! this boca player scored in the 94th minute after he was on a break away following a corner and the goal keeper ran like 15 yards out his box and the player did a bad ass trick move on him, i almost feel off my bed laughing:) :D . It was great. But is there any other sport that can finish scoreless and still be a good game. Imaging basketball finishing 0 to 0 :| :| i think everyone would kill themselves in the arena without a doubt. What i am trying to say is, Some people may say soccer is boring and not exciting, but yet its probably the only sport that can finish scoreless and still boast a brilliant game of magic and class:clapwap:

quite a good opinion. (Y)
A nil-neller can be exciting, especially on the big matches when one mistake can make a huge difference. the tension..

I remember the '94 world cup final, where Brazil played Italy. It ended 0-0 right? It's quite long ago, but the game was interesting.

why did u have to bring up Brazil-Italy from 94??:( .......lol, jk...anyways that was a really good game....very intense and pretty fun to watch......soccer is the only sport where a 0-0 game is still fun to watch, man. u vs. arsenal was one hell of a game too

Parma - Milan was pretty good too, just really annoying for Milan fans since we had 10 good scoring chances but couldn't score :(

0-0 matches can be good, but they just can't touch good scoring matches such as Man City vs. Spurs game that was on 2day :mrpimp:

:D oh that FA cup replay was a bad ass game:rockman: one of the greatest come backs ever after being 3 goals down at halftime and playing with 10men away from home. That game was awesome, quality goals and great goalkeeping in the 2nd half by the city keeper.:rockman: :p

It's funny since I'm from Vancouver too, I used to like hockey as a kid but after I got "infected" by ManU and football I never turned back. Hockey is too... barbarical... other than boxing, what kind of sport do you see the ref stand around and let two players fight?

i agree the fightinh has sort of ruined hockey, it's kind of better to let the players get their anger out with their fists instead of hitting with sticks and what not, but they shouldn't allow fighting. it ruins it in a way

is it only in the NHL that they fight? cuz i dont see it in european leagues or the olympics, they probably do it for ratings and making the sport more exciting for americans to like :kader:  :D :crazyboy:

It's all part of the Americanized image of "real men solve problems with their fists."

What I dont get is that if that happened in a bar both men would get kicked out and possibly arrested. But in hockey, they get 5 minutes in the penalty box and thats it. It's like the law doesnt apply on the ice?
