With Foreign i assume you mean Non-EU... if thats the case,

Serie A -

Not more than 3 on the pitch at a time and not more than 5 in the squad.

Real Madrid are finding loopholes in this, Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos are getting Spanish passports so they'll be able to sign some new non-EU players. Also, I don't think Ronaldo and R. Carlos are the only players doing it at RM.

Lots of teams do that, that's why Arsenal and Man Utd have feeders in belgium, Belgium has faster citizenship than England.

Is there a limit in England though , the players need to get work permits which is why they go to Belgium to get Eu passports.

how annoying is the rule sayin you need 2 under 21 players in your squad in the SPL? actually its not really that annoying to be honest....its only annoying on champ man :( :p

EPL clubs can have an unlimited number of non-eu players, but they have to be granted a work permit.

in Portugal is a max of 4 in the lineup and 6 in the squad.

and the foreigners limitations rules exist to protect the young players.

aberdeen only have like 2 foriegners, pasquinelli from argentina and heikkinen from finland. though we have 2 english fudds in preecey and whelan. so i wouldnt mind! rangers & celtic would!!

sounds good to me! :D (6)

They should definitely limit the number of foreign players (EU and non-EU, doesn't matter) to 5 at max.

true.
i know juve has like 10 foreigners, but if we limit this number, that would mean a tremendous boost for young players of each country hence a better national team imo :)

yup, on one point you do boost up your young players, and have better national teams...but its not fair to others player (lets say from france who want to play in spain) they dont get the chance because they dont have any room for them???....good for real madrid that ronni and mr. carlos are becoming citizens

who cares about where a foreigner wants to play. if each of the stars that are concentrated on serie A EPL and la liga stay in their countries then their leagues could be just a tad better

it's ilegal limitate EU players from play in EU countries leagues because a EU citizen can't be considered as a foreigner in a EU country. The leagues can only limitate non-EU players.
