Formula 1 Pilot David Coulthard Fined

now what I'll tell you is not a product of my imagination.. it's 100% pure truth..

F1 pilot David Coulthard travelled to Turkey for the advertisement of first Turkish Formula 1 GP... one of his part was, travelling across one of the bridges that connects Europe to Asia and come back again where he was first started..

so far so good.. let me tell about some info about that bridge.. we turkish people pay approximately 2,30USD for the every pass from Europe to Asia.. passing from Asia to Europe is somewhat for free.. also, we have a payment system named "OGS"... you pay some deposite and get a device which enables you to make your pass on a special line in which cars do not stop to pay, the money is automatically paid from your bank account by the help of this device as you pass by.. when a car without that device passes from that line, a camera takes pictures the plate of that car and the driver is fined ten-times the normal amount for unauthorised trespassing..

you might have guessed now.. david coulthard didn't have an OGS device in his F1 car, which is a shame for him, and he didn't stop for paying 2,30 USD either, he used that special OGS line... and guess what, he's fined for unauthorised passing from toll plaza with his F1 car.. I really want to see the picture that the camera took..

I'm very optimistic that he'll be fined for speeding in the forthcoming Turkish F1 GP

when we face weird things like that, we turkish people often say "here's turkey, anything is possible" ... don't you think so :)

nice story, we got those passes here in america I got one myself, they call it ez-pass, its a thing of beauty, save a ton of time trying to get over the border. So how much exactly was the fine he recieved?

I don't use the highways during my day, going to school, soccer, whatever. I've only hit one toll before, and that was driving to the beach on the Cape(redundant), So I dont need one, just out of curiosity, how much would that cost me?

RedBull is one team and Sauber is another different team :nape: The authorities did the right thing by not handing them a fine (not that it matters obviously they have the 25 bucks).
