FORMULA FOR 2001 Succes

I think that the worst thing about Fifa 2000 is the gameplay, I'm not saying that it's terrible, just that if it would be more like the one in FIFA 99, it would be perfect. For example, dribbling in Fifa 99(world class) is nearly impossible or very difficult, where in Fifa 2000 it's much easier, and if you don't dribble you don't score. I like it better in Fifa 99 where you have to mke great passes to score, not just dribble. I also hate the linesmen in Fifa2000, it is so unrealistic!!!! the rest in fifa 2000 is good. I would also like to see in FIFA 2001, some indoor soccer, wich is my true passion(in real life). And whole squads and better national teams. The Season option in Fifa 2000 is very good, the main problem is the gameplay.
FORMULA:
Fifa99(gameplay) + fifa2000(Season modes, etc.)+ Indoor Soccer(with tournaments)= FIFA2001(the best ever!!!!!)

It's great!!!! But maybe EA can also include all national teams (like FIFA RTWC 98), the gameplay of FIFA 99 and FIFA 2K league modes, including World Cup and Club World Championship.

I have to disagree, not completely, but disagree.

FIFA 99 gameplay makes me remember Super Nintendo's Super Soccer 2. Everytime you are near a player, you just press the button and you got the ball. Always. That's not real.

FIFA 2000 does a better job. The players push each other and in the end the strongest player wins. This allows more realistic plays.

I have to agree that the passing in FIFA 99 was better, but general gameplay I did not like. Was like a Pinball game.

No ofense.

I think your right too, in some ways. You're also right about "touching a button a having the ball" but I think in my opinion I'd rather have a more passing oriented game, where you have to think more to make a good play, than to mainly have to include a dribble to make a goal. In real life, it's far more common to make a goal without dribbling than by passing, and that makes the game much more entertaining. In Fifa 2k I think I almost never score without having to dribble, about 75-80%.
If the 2 games combined thier strong points, (plus what you said about the national teams, I love t0 play with Venezuela, although they suck)the game would be perfect.
