Hey, Welcome to the Formula One 2004 Tipping Comp.
This thread is pure tipping and I would ask that no one talks about F1 in here. Its purely on tips as this avoids congestion for our points people.

Somehow there are no rules posted in the old thread, but this is what I understood from the counting:

You nominate 3 people per race: Winner, 2nd place, and 3rd place.

Points are scored as follows:

1 Nominated driver on podium: 1 point
1 Nominated driver on correct position, 2nd or 3rd: 2 points
1 Nominated driver on correct position, winner: 5 points
2 Nominated drivers on correct positions, 2nd and 3rd: 5 points
2 Nominated drivers on correct positions, including winner: 10 points (I'm not sure about that score)
3 nominated drivers on podium, all on wrong positions: 5 points
3 nominated drivers on podium, 2nd or 3rd correct: 7 points
3 nominated drivers on pudium, winner correct: 10 points
3 nominated drivers on correct positions: 15 points


Hope I haven't forgotten anything :)

Found it. Didnt take much time to find it (even tho I have about 200GBs full, good positionin, I know almost exactly where to find and what)



You tip three drivers who will end up on the podium (in order to attain maximum points).

Tip the winner: 5 points
If one of the drivers you tip makes the podium: 1 point.
Two drivers make the podium: 3 Points
All three drivers make the podium: 5 points.
One driver in the correct placing: 2 points.
Two drivers in the correct placing: 5 points.
All the drivers in correct placing: 15 points.
(Points are accumulative).

Basically: Tip the three drivers as follows:
a) first place
b) second place
c) third place

I will tally points at end of race.






Will we keep this thread to post in, or are we goin to use the old one? If it is this one, then we should add the rules in the first post, or, move this post in 1st place. (dont know if it is possible but u admins do somethin if u can)

Ok. I am going to sticky this thread and what we can perhaps do is take turns in counting it if a few people nominate themselves. :) Even out the work load.

nice i'm in but some clarify the rules, lets say i predict some 3 chaps on podium, do i get points a) 5 for getting all 3 on podium, b) all three in correct placing order so my net total for the race is :20 points??

Im not to flash on myself with the rules. I am sure Ruud or Mixafendis can explain in great detail to us.

Also you tipped the winner so I would say 25? I am not sure. As I said ask those two for help :)

Hunt: No, when a condition is met, for which another condition also has to have been met, only the one with the highest points valuation counts. In your case it would be 15 points for 3 correct places, which is the maximum score. :)
