I've seen Freddy play many times, and he is VERY good. You can't take that away from him.

They say he is 13 years old, which I find hard to believe. That would put him being born in about 1989 or so. I'd say that he's probably around an '86 or '87. That means playing on the U-17 national team is probably the correct age for him. That still doesn't make him any worse as a player because even for an '86/'87 he is a tremendous talent.

I've talked to people that know him, and they told me that someone wanted to do a bone-scan on him to see how old he really was, but his mom refused to let them. That's a little supsicious to me, but take it as you like...:mrpimp:

Yeah, about a year or two ago when Freddy lived around here, my friend was on his school team and I used to go and watch the games. Back then the Washington Post had a few articles about him, saying that he was fourteen. So I dont really understand how he is now thirteen...

That guy is really amazing though. The article in the WP said he turned down the Inter Milan offer because his mom wanted him to finish school... In either case, I am betting that he will join some European club within two years.

I fully agree. I saw him play with Potomac at Raleigh last year when I was there playing.
