I played in a tournament, and his team was in it, he definately is 14. I chatted with him after he made my team look silly

Of course he gains something.
His skills aren't incredible for a 25 year old. But because of his young age people put such high hopes in him, and hence the $$$'s he's getting.

He isn; t worth much playing in the stinkingly weak MLS...ok...just get that straight...that league sucks like crap. If he goes over to a strong league in Europe and impresses, then the hype is justified ....if not, the hype is worth nothing you insanely naieve individuals.
It is a crap league...what do you expect? This part of the planet has to bring over teams from a part of the planet that is separated from us by a stinking ocean and that causes fans to show up and sell out games and express some mass interest!
