Freeze Time Works Fine Even With My WINXP SP2
But the 10min game I had just confirms what I seen with the normal time demo.
1. Ball physics are not great, the ball moves like a billard ball when passing.
2. High balls , kickout long high passes and so on , at times either shoots through the air at to high a speed or on the other hand looks and moves like it has an off centre weight in it ..
3. Shots move to way to fast. Playing as AC Milan inside the 18yrd box its hard not to score.. but that's not the main point, the main point and let down of the game is the ball physics.
The other thing I noticed and it has to be there is player fatigue, now just 2 runs with Shevi and his power bar sits at halfway down, meaning that his running power be it a sprint or normal running is curtailed. Now I know players will get tired, but playing a 10min game and 2 or 3 runs into it and you players strenght it reduced by half, gattuso's power bar had just about ran out..
As I said players need to tire during a game ( last 15/20mins) but this is ridiculous.. In PES its not so bad , but even there in Master League if you played a player 2/3 games in a row his fatigue bar was really high and he was just about usuless as the game went on.. Now these are supposed to be representations of real players, there is no way unless ill or injured that players get this tried after 15/20mins of a game or after 2 or 3 30/40yrd sprints..
FIFA could be a great game if they fixed the ball physics and speed and sorted the fatigue bar !
at 40+ I can't be considered a fanBoy , but I will be sticking to PES which I went to after FIFA2003 ... If I thiught FIFA was a better "football" game I would be buying and playing it, all the other parts of this football presentation are top notch, though that said, I think the player graphics and strips are better in PES..
As I have said before , give me a game with PES gameplay added to the rest of FIFA and I would be as happy as a pig in $hit!
