friedel stats

Friedel is a awesome goal keeper, I havent yet fickled with his stats in FE, and I use him alot, he does good, but but maybe I shoudl up them a lil here and there. He is the best keeper in England, and if not the best in the world at the moment, he is in top 3. I think you put him where Kahn is he would be just as good if not better, he is quicker then Kahn, I think he is taller.... and he looks like Brad Pitt compared to that wookie. Friedel rules.

I say - Friedels' Def Stat should not be any bigger than 90.

And I say you have absoutely no idea who Brad Friedel is. I can tell from your other soccer posts that you really need to watch some real games and learn how to analyze and formulate opinions for yourself.

I think Buffon and Friedel are on the same level - THE BEST IN THE WORLD. Blackburn without Friedel would be 15th in the Premiership, instead they are going to be playing in the UEFA Cup next season. You give us some useless stat comparing Kahn with Friedel. Not only is the Premiership better overall than the Bundesliga, you're forgetting that Blackburn's back line doesn't exactly scream world class. Bayern not only has better defenders, but a much better team playing in front of Kahn. Kahn has really fallen off since the World Cup, although sometimes I feel like i'm the only one who's noticed this. Kahn at the most could be considered third best in the world. I personally feel he is fourth behind Casillas.

Hopefully all of this is cleared up for WE7! Friedel definitelty got the shaft on his stats though! UGH! Some of you bohyz really need to look at the teams these keepers are playing for! The more shots your defense lets the offense take, the larger of a chance that more goals will be conceded by your keeper! It's common sense. So comparing Friedel to Kahn just by stats is plain ignorant, you have to look at the whole picture to assess a correct comparison. This should all be common knowledge though chaps. To be honost, I think it's good that Friedel is playing with Rovers right now, it will keep him sharp and a lot more alert seeing how his defense will be alllowing tons of shots to get off! TONS of in-game practice! heh. Also a big plus for the U.S. National Team!

Yeah great gob. Some young ones around here dont understand that a great back line and a better overall team make a huge difference in the goals that are let in. Freidel has made FAR more saves the Kahn has without a doubt. And IMO is a better gk.

Im glad im not the only one that thinks Friedel is a great keeper. Im just a bit disappointed i wont be able to see him play at the confederation cup(i know its lame cup but still want to see him play) but atleast that way Howard will get a shot to play in europe and be given a look by the teams over there. Plus i live in miami so im going to get to see the USA play here for the semi of the Gold cup so im a be doing pretty good.

Firstly, you quote me on how I say that keepers can't be judged primarily on stats. DUH. It's a pretty obvious statement on my part, atleast among us that have common sense. BUT THEN you make your arguement (comeback)... LOL! blah blah blah... cause he's made more saves. Last time I checked, those "saves" are stats. I'm REALLY gald you came up with something I never said and secondly just reiterated my point!
