ok, I have this friend who is a great guy, but he can be incredebly shy. he doesn´t go to parties becouse of this, and has problem socialising with people, especially when it comes to talking to girls. what advice can I give him, how can he get more self confidence??

get some alcohol in him... i was very much the same... infact im 18... never been to pub or club or party until earlier this year... then i went with good mates... caus i knew theyd stand there and talk to me and **** so i wasnt left alone... then i had a few beers in me and some bourban and i was fine... chatted up 8 diff chicks... now its almost a nightly thing... yeah that's the key really. Stop building things up like its the end of the world... sometimes its hard ...

otherwise alcohol will take some of the shyness away for sure.

Im pretty shy myself, but I always go to parties and pubs, and have a great time...so just tell him that he is going to lose great parts of hes adolescence or just take him there and get him drunk :p

haha. Its weird because none of my friends are shy :confused: even the shyest one talks to everyone but is quieter than the rest, and she has a boyfriend. And there isn't really any shy guy friends... the shyest one is just a bit quieter but he talks to everyone still... and he has a girlfriend as well. lol. :confused:
