UEFA made their decision, and i think its the right one.
the game wont be played in Turkey. Instead it might be played in Germany, maybe Stoccarda(thats in italian dont know the german or english name). Also besiktas-chelsea wont be played there.
i guess is safe to say.....

Yeah I heard it as well. It will probably be played in Stuttgart right before their German Cup game so the stadium might be full. :)

i do not approve of this.this is backing down to terrorists because now they are going to get even more power from this thinking that everyone fears their mighty:rolleyes: powers. i think it would have been better if it was played in turkey for both Turkey and UEFA. if it was played in turkey imo safetly definetly would have been the last last issue. even the prime minister said that so go figure.
note:if you are going to reply to this please dont make it an idiotic statement like before. you know who you are.

I think its pretty fair. Germany has quite a bit of Turkish population i believe - Berlin being the prime example.

and yeah, UEFA will definitely allot more tickets for Galatasaray.

that might be true, but theres also big chances of the terrorist hitting again and can you imagine if that could be in the stadium while the game is being played?? in one word: DISASTER

its not worth the risk man, itll be like sending an army with no weapons or protection to a war.

as simple as that. and i dont mind to ofend any of the turks or anybody. its just that you cant play that game with the terrorists.

First of all I would like to apologize for offending some people here. I was also offended. Maybe you should choose your words more carefully. NO TURKS is different than saying No Turkish national team. Anyway, I don't agree with the UEFA decision. UEFA is giving the terrorists more confidence. These kind of attacks can happen any where in the world at the moment to those certain ethnic groups. I don't think the terrorist's targets are meant to be for the Italians.... their targets are for those certain groups. Turkey is a safe country no matter what. Just because of those attacks doesn't mean anything, as I said it can happen in any where in the world. I think Italian and the English sides are just looking for an excuse to avoid playing in Istanbul no matter what. Turkey is a safe place, even our president have stated it clearly. We welcome any european teams to Istanbul, and we will provide their safety without any problems. I think yesterday or something an Italian basketball team have played against Ulker.... so their is no need to be panic. This is what my opinion is.

i know that an attack can happen anywhere but if one just happened in istambul, and i have to go there, i wouldnt want to go there.
yes the teams are scared to go there and play there. but not scared to loose, but scared to die.
its as symple as that man, and UEFA has th protect the players.
anyways, juve dont care if they loose since they are already qualified. so its not that they are scared to play against gala in turkey.

and im sorry, but there is absolutely nothing wrong to say "no turks in portugal" just like i said "no italians in turkey"......thats not racism....thats the truth;)

Dortmund date for Galatasaray

UEFA has announced that the UEFA Champions League Group D match between Galatasaray SK and Juventus FC will be played on Tuesday 2 December at the Westfalenstadion in Dortmund, Germany.

Matches moved
The game was scheduled to be played two days ago, but was postponed along with two other European club matches due to take place on Turkish soil. The decision was made following the recent terrorist attacks in Istanbul on the 15 and 20 November.

Positive discussions
After positive discussions with the clubs and national association involved, the Galatasaray-Juve fixture was moved to Dortmund, with a 20.45CET kick-off. UEFA Chief Executive Gerhard Aigner said: "We are very happy that following excellent co-operation between UEFA, the Turkish FA and the home club involved, we have found a suitable neutral venue for the rescheduled match."

Well it's gonna be a home game for Gala anyway. Fair decision I think...

Just a few minutes away from Dortmund though. :)

The Juve players should book their tickets for Schalke very soon, otherwise they have to watch it in front of the tv. ;) :p
