Game crashing!

I have recently been experiencing game crashing on my PC after downloading the Ivory Coast patch on from FVM. The PC just switches off when I start playing a game. It's all ok when you are scrolling the menus and stuff etc.

No, I am not blaming the patch and actually think that's a great patch, but might be afraid that there me some configurations that I might not be aware of. Anyone can suggest anything?

My specs:

Pentium D
2.8GHz
512 RAM
Nvidia 6600GT 128MB

does the problem go away if you uninstall the patch? you could try that to see if it helps. if it does go away, then there is something wrong with the download.

try erasing the fifa 07 folder in My Documents and then run the game (obviously, previous saved changes will be lost but the crashing should stop and the patch should be ok)

i think there is something wrong with your pc. no patch can be so buggy that it crashes your pc, it can only make the game crash.

i think you should do a virus scan. you might have got one when you downloaded the patch

Me bad.... it was a damn hardware problem on my PC. The power supply connector was faulty. But after I changed it and did a reformat on my HD, my copy of FIFA 07 seems to be faulty.
