hey in the next few days i will post my suggestions and i would like any other ppro at game play editing to help me fix this. its stupid u cant get you freekicks to loop enough or your strikers to volley at will. and also to fix the super goalies wen the ball is looped. you must remember beckam isnt a shot blaster yet he scores alot of free kicks

Maybe you could change something more...
The keeper does not kick the ball far enough. It doesn't reach the midfield. That sucks... It's just suggestion.

Could you please tell me what changes you've made to the ini.big in particular? I'd love to try your version of the free kick, but without losing any other tweaks I've made in the ini.big.
EDIT: Although I didn't try it yet, just checked it in Notepad, I saw that some Assistance factors have been set to really high numbers. Doesn't that take a bit from the difficulty of the game?

notb really as ea seem to have instaled assist limits. but to change the freekick work with the back spin lamnar and ball resistance functions i.e

its suprising the factors at 0 increase the curve. i actually had one with scorable freekicks that bend like hell buit i was deleted with the game. i recomend you only tweak the laminar/lam functions
maybe try setting these to zero as well

When I add this in it turns off the CPU subs.
Not sure why.
When I look in the INI.BIG I see that the CPU SUBS line is set to = -1
I have it set to = 1 in my CONFIG.DAT AI.INI file.
So I have left my CONFIG AI file alone and changed the INI.BIG so far.
Tried using = 0 and = 1 and the CPU still does not sub.

Have you seen the gameplay and physics in Fifa Manager 06? Absolutely way better than fifa soccer. Especially you can notice that when palyers are in airbattles. Rondom ball movements happen surprisingly. I think makers of the manager game of the fifa used the CC 04/05 engine and imporeved the game significiantly. It is a pity that ball phyisics of fifa soccer 06 are very bad comparing to manager game of EA.

nope from scratch. acually from my old fifa 05 patches and pes. i got a new patch done with greatly improved passing, goalkeeping, physics(bounce, curves and speed) and cpu ai. so annoying i still cant fix the volleys.
what fifa had the most auto volleys? i mean fifas tht you dot have to double tap?
the patch is only available on pro setting (i.e. they are all set to the same levels). the marking has been tweaked into a totally different game. i think i also managed to get the goalie to rush out some more. cpu are now more serious a threat.
expect an upload within the next 4 hours.

The CPU is always around 85% or higher per game passing.
Something more along 65% would be nice.

Yes that is one big problem. and one way of solving it is to increase the minimun time a player holds the ball. this will remove first=time football totally from cpu ai. to tweak this go to the cpudiif.ini in the ini.big. i dont exe my patches well i'll send them all the same but if your downlod is a tinnie winnie bit slower. look not here.
