Gamecube - nothing saves?!

Okay, I've been trying to get ANYTHING unlocked. I've played mostly career mode as AZ Alkmaar, I've won the league, ECC, and the League Tournament. Also, outside of career mode, I've won the FA cup as Chelsea and a BUNCH of friendlies.

NO extra kits are unlocked...I've tried activating the profile before the game, loading the profile before the game, then saving the profile after the game and it never unlocks the kits.

Not only that, but my EA Sports Bio has NO accomplishments (and I've won multiple tournaments and leagues) and I make sure to save it all the time. I'm up to lvl 7 just from play-time! (About 2 days)

I've been playing all on semi-pro but I just now switched up to Pro and beat Wolves as Chelsea 4-1 and still didn't get to see Wolves 1st and/or 2nd kits in the menu.

How do you unlock this stuff on Gamecube? What are the accomplishments? WTF?

Also, in my AZ Alkmaar career, I got up to 12,000 prestige points, but I only have a budget of 6,000 per week for training and stuff. This seems whacked.

My gameCube is not saving things in the BIO like yours... and it sad that i have just hours of playing.. whe in real i have days.

wicked.


Luckily, it saves at least the career mode files :(

Bio save manually

Well, you have to save the Bio file manually. So after you're done playing, if you want all you've done to go into the Bio, you have to go save it each time. The problem I'm having is that I'm not getting any of my accomplishments to register on the Bio.

Supposedly, you get an accomplishment for scoring a hat-trick? I've scored DOZENS of hat-tricks in my Semi-Pro Az Alkmaar career, and NEVER gotten any kind of accomplishment put on the Bio for it.

I've also won a bunch of tournaments...the only things that has EVER come up was when I won the league and ECC my 2nd year in career....it unlocked the "Rest of World" third kits...which amounted to ONE STINKING TEAM!

This is annoying...is anyone with the Gamecube version getting their accomplishments tracked?

I have it for PS2, and I have the same problem with it not giving me ANY recent or major accomplishments. I've scored a number of hat tricks, and I won the EPL title with Arsenal and the FA Cup...still nothing. I save my EA Bio after every game.

I don't know why it's not giving you any of the other team's home and away kits. I have no problems with that. All I have to do is beat the other team, and it will unlock their home and away kits. As long as I save my profile, it saves the kits that I have unlocked.

FIFA 2004 is very buggy. It's a shame, because I really enjoy the game.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. Maybe the EA Canada team will do the game next year, and they'll smooth out these issues.

What do you do with the profile? Do you have to activate it before each game? Save it after every game?

I recently got to EA Sports Bio level 8 and got Italian Division 1 3rd kits unlocked...but I thought you unlocked the kits by beating the teams...?

err, i have the opposite problem: its says 'defeated teams in Liga' about 8 times on my accomplishments. is this natrual?

Well, I figured some things out tonight. Once you beat all of the teams in a certain league, it gives you their third kits. Also, FINALLY, something appears in my EA Bio. I beat all of the English Premiership teams, and saved my EA Bio, and so that's actually listed in there. Apparently, winning the FA Cup or any other cup doesn't matter to the EA Bio, because I've won the FA Cup two times now, and it doesn't appear in the accomplishments list.

I have also encountered another bug however, and it's exactly what Omi is talking about. Now, every time I beat and English Premier League team, it says "You have beat all of the English Premiership teams". So now, every time I save my EA Bio, after I beat an EPL team, it lists that one more time. :rolleyes:

Other than that bug is the Gamecube version really fun and enjoyable? Can you buy or sell players from the rest of the world teams?

Nope, you can only buy from the leagues that you can have careers in. You can't buy Brazilian players or players from the Rest of the World.

You have to TOGGLE YOUR PROFILE when selecting a side, search button is your friend. And also BIO doesn't save FOR you, you save MANUALLY!:)

That's because you need to save your PROFILE, your PROFILE carries your BIO!

After every game I play, I save my profile, and my EA Bio...every time.

When you score a hat-trick, does it list that in your EA Bio? Because it doesn't for me. Maybe you have the magic touch. ;)
