Okay Breamster, here`s some Spanish league players :
* Real Madrid :
- Hierro : slow, good interception, nice tackles, strong in the air
- Helguera : long pass, hard tackler, quiet fast and strong
- Zidane : move inside from the left wing, mixed passing with dribbling, most passes are done with Carlos and Raul, shoots when possible, doesn`t slide tackles.
- Figo : keep moving from right to left and vice versa, send good crosses and through balls, will shoot at about 25 yards if possible, short passer and dribbles the ball, but doesn`t run with it.
- Raul : excellent positioning, complete technique, tends to slide-shot the ball from crosses instead heading it or blast it hard with volleys.
- Ronaldo : powerhouse striker with good dribbling and speedy runs. Very strong, will move to the wing to support the attack and send crosses, excellent positioning.
* Barcelona :
- Xavi : short passer, sometimes long, with weak but accurate high long shots, send through balls, diagonal crosses.
- Riquelme : like Veron, but more dribbling.
- Saviola : fast and good dribbler, long hard shots, weak on header due to his height, but very dangerous when unmarked, moves to wings when it`s not possible to attack from the centre, lots of tricks.
- Kluivert : good positioning, fast and strong, doesn`t dribble much, pass to the nearest temmate then go looking for free position.
- Mendieta: move inside from the right wing, send through balls and crosses, hard tackler, long shots, doesn`t do any fancy tricks, an effective textbook player.

Hey beammaster please send me the tutorial at [email protected]

here is some players that i love to watch and i know them very well:

paris St germen-Ronaldinho-> Freekick specialist..Very very technical free kicks and accurate.also he is a pass master.Slow game with sudden high speed acceleration.

olympiakos piraeus: Giovanni-> very slow.very very slow...slower from death! :) A killer dribbler although! he walks and let defenders frozen!
Olympiakos Piraeus: Ze Elias.Very aggressive tacler ..usually gets red cards for tough markings from behind.but he is a solid rock in the midfield...he dont allow any ground passes to come throught

A buddy asked for ea graph editor.Go here and download neoGF is newer and better http://www.fifala.com/fifaexpress/eng/utilities.shtml

Here`s some Bayern Muenchen players :
- Kahn : hard to beat one on one, vulnerable with surprising long hard shots, good catching on crosses.
- Sagnol : goes upfront, a little slow, short passer.
- Lizarazu : fast, nice crosses.
- Ze Roberto : dribbles and runs with the ball, goes inside from left wing diagonally, send crosses and through balls. Will shot when possible. Most passing are done with Ballack.
- Ballack : strong hard long shots, uses both feet well, tends to pass the ball to his right or left, very rarely sends a long forward ball. Dribbling when possible, will come from behind to head the ball on goal. Rarely runs, prefer walking phase when with the ball. Good positioning, moves everywhere. Sends diagonal crosses.
- Jeremies : never goes to deep into the opponent penalty area, uncompromised hard tackler, short passer to the nearest free player. Hard to get pass, nice interception.
- Hargreaves : sends long forward ball, rarely shoots from long distance, very calm, always looking for free position, dribbles but not to much of it, weak header.
- Elber : fast, will go to midfield to collect the ball, tends to chase the ball with his speed, goes to the wing to open space for teammates, complete striker.

any chance I could get this tutorial?

[email protected]

so, bottom line, is it possible to customize players without custom faces? if not, editing the MLS would be lame, because you'd only be editing Donovan.

i aint dun a tutorial yet, soz fella, someone else in this thread said they had. if u look at my first posts it explains how to do it.

u can edit any player as long as you no their player id, you can get these by using the access method.

okay, so i figured it out.

now, what different attributes or options are available to customized? (e.g.)

CPU_THROUGHPASS_PERCENT = 40
CPU_SHOT_DIST = 40
CPU_SHOT_ANGLE = 5

what are the other possibilites?

and second, breamaster, how did you access that Excel database? what is it? is it able to be edited and whatnot?

go to this thread fella

http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?threadid=51045

u have to have ms access 2000/2002(XP) and open the database, which has all players and teams in

there are loads of possibilties with the attributes, i will complile a list later. different combinations give excellent results, check out the replay i have posted earlier in this thread...

yes, i've done the whole Access editing thing... had completely correct MLS rosters... i was so proud... then, i accidently deleted them yesterday... and now i wanna cry... so lets not talk about it... *sniff*

here are the players who are most unique in the way they play
beckham - as we know, passes, never dribbles
scholes - takes a shot whenever the ball is loose from outside the penalty area
vieira - tackles, then runs with ball through the middle, then throughpasses it to pires/wiltord
henry - will run from anywhere with ball (opposition corner!) and try to score - less dribbling, just pace and runs in space
shearer - can volley
rui costa/steve gerard/veron- can lob through balls (not cross) from Centre Midfield beautifully into the strikers
serginho - will run with pace up the wing and dribble around players - often comes into centre with ball and will score
roberto carlos - (other than obvious attacking style) will shoot at goal from anywhere close enough/seems to like shot/cum/crosses - low and hard - into the box
edmilson - Centre Back but likes to run forward with the ball, pass, and continue running off ball
a good one i saw earlier on here - rio ferdinand passes rather than clears
ronaldinho - always smiles! even when sent off! (i wonder if there is someway of doing this - coz they smile in the cut scenes and stuff)
emre - dribble past an opposition midfielder then unleash a long shot
anyway, i might think of some more later

Can somebody explain to me why you must go through EA Graph to open and edit the aicpu.big file?

I mean I could open it easily with Word or notepad, i haven't tried to edit anything in there yet, but all the data and values appear alright. - Why must EA Graph be used?

AZone

If you try edit ini.big or aicpu.big files using Notepad - you will crash them. The most simple way - HEXeditor

hmm, yes I should have made myself a bit more clearer. You see the point is, if you edit by changing values [i.e. number for number, there will be no crashes, and the game will run smoothly, provided you work within the parameters the comments suggest.

However if you want to add values in the manner that this thread show you can i.e. adding additional attributes and player specifics etc , you have to use editors like EA Graph etc, becuase other files used by the game read from these ini files, and changes of that magnitude have to be made in the exact format these files read them. Using the same compression and uncompression blah blah blah..

Long and short of it, if u are just playing with values use notepad, if you are addding arguments, then you have to use EA Graph as mentioned in previous posts.
