Thanx.

Yes Sameer, I have kept the bulk of your patch and just added in the individual player files that Breamster has done. I think the gameplay is running pretty good now.
Great work both of you.

However defenders try to dribble the ball past my attackers

defenders who usually bring the ball out of defence, ie rio ferdinand, ashley cole, etc will do so :)

Starting XI
Hi Breamster, a couple more players' info from the French league:

Auxerre:

Boumsong - strong defender who is very aggressive and as a result often commits a lot of fouls. However, he is very comfortable running with the ball from defence.

Fadiga - plays as a 2nd striker and drifts to the flanks during the game to beat the full back and whip a cross in for Cisse. However, he is sometimes overzealous in his tackling of defenders, earning him yellow cards.

Cisse - very pacy direct striker, who likes to run past defenders. He usually enters the box running diagonally away from the goal and quickly shoots from an acute angle.

Kapo - very similar to Patrick Viera in terms of strngth and heading but this guy has greater pace, plays on the right of midfield and is much more direct. He tends to shoot from the edge of the box.

PSG:

Cardetti - very quick, likes to play on the shoulders of defenders (like Owen) and so gets caught offside quite a lot. He fits the "fox in the box" mould that Wenger gos on about and picks up the scraps left in the penalty box. Poor holding, due to his low upper body strength and overall size.

Domi - left back similar to Ashley Cole in many ways, as he likes to run past defenders in the flank and whip in a cross. However, his crosses are sometimes poor.

Pochettino - huge central defender with a immense presence at the back. Good at heading the ball, however can be over physical and commits a lot of fouls. Not all that comfortable coming out of defence with the ball.

Monaco:

Jugovic - free kick specialist and acts as the distributor of the midfield by switching play from one flank to the other with cross field balls. However, his defending isn't the greatest due to his age and crap pace.

Tony Sylva - Senegalese GK, who reminds me of Barthez as he tends to punch flighted balls and makes saves look incredible with his acrobatics. Concentration is poor for a GK and often his distribution from goal kicks etc. is ver poor.

Lyon:

Carriere - has great awareness and vision and can play long cross field balls and killer through balls. He also likes to get forward from midfield like Scholesy and tries to get there late to nick a goal.

Capaca - strong defender, who is good at heading but isn't the greatest at coming out with the ball from defence.

Lens:

Papa Bouba Diop - immense strength and power and is great at heading. Plays behind the main striker usually, and likes to be direct and put himself about and this usually means he has poor discipline.

Marseille:

Olembe - very pacy midfielder, who always aims to thread a defence splitting pass for the strikers but hasn't got great strength due to his size so sometimes he "topples" over without a reason!

Daniel Van Buyten - a central defender of immense strength (his dad was a pro wrestler) and is good at heading . His pace is fairly good for a defender of his size and he is fairly comfortable running with the ball.

Seydou Keita - skillful player, who plays in the "hole" and likes to play lots of speculative passes but is let down often by his poor strength.

Bordeaux:

Pauleta - skillful, tends to create his own chances but is clinical in front of goal, with heading a strong point. He can also create for others by drifting to the flanks and crossing into the box.

Darcheville - despite his size, he is good at holding the ball upfront and his usual behaviour is to go for speculative shots.

Finally, two players who I had the opportunity to see at the start of the season when I was on holiday.

Sporting:

Jardel - often described as the "complete striker", good at heading, has strength and fairly good pace for a 6ft3 plus guy. Often though, he is too selfish and tries to go it alone and ends up losing the ball and he does not like tracking back to help defend.

Quaresma - dubbed the "new Figo", and in many respects is very similar, however, this guy has more pace but usually his final ball into the box is disappointing.

Hope this helps and don't hesitate to ask me for some more from the French league. By the way, is there any chance u can give us a rough date for version 2 of the patch (I know u have just finished one but...) as a teaser for something to look forward to!:p

Breamster this is what you should do first

ok now Ive tested your patch with liverpool again and theres also this right back guy and he playes with that ball too far long.

I wish there were random changes like sometimes he would hold the ball and sometimes would just pass it or maybe even just stay there.

anyway EA your dumb why didnt you include these this year its so damn easy for you anyway who the hell am I talking to.Smeagal :D

ohh and liverpool is great I think you should continue the editing of other team players based on their attributes

see ya

You don't happen to support Liverpool do you Breamster? Xavier is too good at dribbling he kept going round in circles, I would slide him he would turn, I would block tackle, he would win, he dribbled from right back to the penalty spot and scored. And he didnt even sprint.

Funnily enough, that would be Abel Xavier. The guy I just bitched on in the last post.

I reckon Breamster was to put his dribbling down at 9, however he held it down to long without realising, and accidently pressed 99. :crazyboy:

Just downloaded the Patch

Kinda late, but I got the patch. yet to try it though...

Breamster, I was thinking maybe u could use attributes from some other game, like CM or something. They have attributes to tons of players and to tons of teams.
I didnt have that game installed so I couldn't extract the attributes of the players. :(
But good work, keep it up man!
