breamster,your patch is great but i found a bug is that some players like Ljungberg don't shoot the ball when facing the GK.
i found that if the sum of CPU_DRIBBLE_PERCENT and CPU_PASS_PERCENT is bigger than 90,the player don't shoot,
i don't know it is true or not.

Hi Breamster, just to say I too have noticed the problem with Xavier and was wondering if u could correct this and release this as version 1.1 but I know u must be busy. BTW is there any chance that u could make a tutorial cos if I knew how to do it, I would do the French league and this would take some work off you. I'm sure others would be willing to do other leagues u are not sure about.

nah, my team is charlton and arsenal, think it was a type error, this will be solved. keep the errors coming, this is only version 1 of course

breamster, sorry a bit off-topic. Could u or someone inform me on all the commands "CPU_DRIBBLE_PERCENT" and what each does. I know that this example is self explanitory but theres some I don't know. I've already edited a few (2 ) players and it seems to work but I would like to go more in depth. Any help will be appreciated!!

i noticed this too when testing, it has changed now, if a chance on goal is available then they will unleash a shot!!

wheb you modifiy aicpu you modifiy only the values of the players or also the ai of the whole game ?

Benplc, this patch of Breamster's is so exciting because it edits the AI for individual players so that each player has their own behaviour e.g. Keane tackles a lot, Beckham hits cross field balls etc. It is possible to do this for every player, I believe.

but my question is :
some patch modified the ini.big this one only the aicpu

does it mean that the aicpu is only concerned by the values of the players not by the ai of the whole game ?

that's what i'm curious too.
i too a look at the ini.big file and some of the values in there represent the ai of the cpu as well.
i suppose that the ini.big file affects the way the computer plays generally.
but the aicpu.big file affects individual players and their own playing style.
so you could have a team playing long passing, long shooting, but the star players in the team have their own playing style?

can anybody clear this up?
the ini.big file also has values that affect field size, speed of the kickmeter and stuff...

its an awesome patch breamster !

just one thing i wanted to say that the attributes for barthez r not proper . he doesnt save much in the game . he just allows the opponent to score goals . in real life he does make some super saves in the game as well as lets some goals go due to stupid goalkeeping at times.but in fifa , he just lets the ball go into the net most of the times. can u fix that in u'r 2nd version ?

He sounds pretty realistic to me already

Her is the Tottenham players attributes as i see them. These are my opinion and am happy to hear any other opinions.

Sullivan - Great all round goalkeeper, shot stopper and saver.

Carr - Very offensive, runs up and down the wing all day long. great dribblerhis height lets him down.

Zeige - very attack minded, strays forward on occasions. has a wicked left foot for crosses and free kicks.

Richards - good tackler and strong in the air. a bit clumsy at times. not good with the ball at his feet. either has a great game or a shocker.

Thatcher - very aggressive, very hard player, not technically great on the ball.

Perry - great positioning, has a good defensive mind. is a little slow.

Anderton - great curling lobbing crosser, lots of stamina but has absolutely no skill what so ever.

Poyet - Brilliant passer and gets into good goal scoring positions. Has great technique and ball control. Maybe a little slow, and lacks a little stamina.

Redknapp - Great passer of the ball and reads the game well. Has a cracking shot on him. Injury prone.

Sheringham - Great reader of the game, with a great footballing brain. Great headerer and good finisher and clinical passer. Slow as you like.

Keane - Fast and has some decent skill. Gets into good goalscoring positions and can create his own chances. Misses a few chances.

I would like to suggest that when people state players attributes, (especially from the team you support) you add some negatives. I have read a lot of biassed opinions, like mr west ham supporter (on page 22 or 23 i think) basically made West Ham sound like a title contender.

OB1 - You forgot simon davies

superb finisher,great engine,pacy,pretty weak ( gets knocked off the ball too easy.

I have forgotten a few, but i mainly tried to use the first 11 that the CPU gives you. And the problem with Davies is that he is very underestimated in the game, and is pretty crap compared to our other midfielders.

true.

my team is charlton and arsenal, i have put charlton players to have bad passing and dribbling percentages, etc.

negatives for players is good, keep them coming

OB1, just to say that I agree with u that more negatives are needed and if u look at my opinions on some french league players (p22 or 23), u will see that I have given a balanced opinion. It also helps when u see these players in person, as I try to go to as many french league games as poss, usually 6-7 a year.
