Been working hard to fix FIFA 2004 gameplay and this is the result.

*IMPORTANT* : to download do right click then save as.

Patch Info :

- Global ball speed is fixed via gravity and resistance, now equals reality.
- Shoots are much slower, now they are realistic.
- Now is a bit more difficult to score.
- Lobs range fixed.
- Passing now more realistic.
- Goalies are not improved so you can still score quite easy from long range.

To Install :

Extract Config.dat to Demo base folder and overwrite existing file.

Dont forget to Backup your original Config.dat in case you want to revert gameplay.

I will refrain from this patch, the only beef i have is with the shots from open play being too slow and easy to save. It would then be idiocy for me to download a patch that would make the shots even slower
I like the demo how it is personally.

For those who are getting problems downloading the file, simply copy and paste it into a new browser window (works for me).

wow ea spends so much time fixing the fifa2003 gameplay and u guys thinks it needs to be re-fixed.

This has got to be a world record!

How can anybody be happy with a demo that needs a gameplay patch within 48 hours to make it more realistic.

And the bottom line is, if the patch does make the game more realistic, WHAT THE HECK HAVE EA BEEN DOING OVER THE LAST 12 MONTHS????????????

sad but true. Game companies that makes truely good gameplay games seems to be going/almost went bankrupt.. blizzard, Squaresoft, Sega... Nitendo
