In response to the other thread, i decided to make one looking at those games we all waited for outside the shop, in the pouring rain, before they delayed it once more and when it did finally surface... it was wank.

My nominations:

Premier Manager 98 - was out so late it was nearly '99, woeful game compared with CM9798.

CM5 - oh god.

Civilisation Call to Power - only reason i didnt like it was because i overhyped it to death.

very hard to find a new one. I search it on ebay, it would costs me US$35. The retail price was around $20 as I remembered.

Premier Manager 98 wasn't too bad. I even printed out those player bios. Still got them in a file. And also the game itself. Bought it along the same time as CM 2 Italia.

Escape from Monkey Island was pretty disappointing. Didn't actually wait for it outside the shop in the pouring rain, but I was looking forward to it. Oh, and Lionheart and Larry 8, they sucked.

Part 4 was crap, too. The reason why 3 and 4 were so crap was because SCEA gave the green light to 989 Studios to develop part's 3 and 4. (In case you don't who 989 Studios is, they are [or where] a small company division owned by SCEA).

I'll say Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. It took a hell lot of time to be released after Porsche Unleashed was released.

see i didnt like that very much, but the one for the PSP aint bad. Nothing touches 2 though.

NFSU2. instead of keeping the strong aspects of NFSU1 and improving the negatives, it butchered all that was good and didnt really improve in many aspects
