No, that is not possible unfortunately...

If you want to play FIFA 08 Next-gen, just buy a next-gen console and buy the game...

HOWEVER, if you want a much better gameplay than what the original game has, there is this wonderful person by the name of NK Football on these threads who creates gameplay patches.

Give him some time to make a gameplay patch for FIFA 08 and I will guarantee you that FIFA 08 for PC will be much more realistic. Who knows, it might even resemble the next-gen version of the game!

can anyone tell me how to import faces in fifa 08 ?, because the way i used led to texture problems.
