Yes , he stopped a shot with his shoulder in the area and the referee thought it was intentional, so red card and penalti . :rolleyes:

Hamit is not more than a good sub as long as Rafinha is fit. Halil seems to be a great addition to the team. He compliments the classic target man Kuranyi/Larsen well and is a good finisher.

what about Kuranyi i used to think he was one of the better forwards in Germany has he fallen of the map? is Valdez anywhere close on that list, and Sanogo from what ive seen hes alright but loses the ball to much.

according to last year's scorings, there are three of them- Klose, Berbatov and Makaay.
now, without Berbatov, who went on for Tottenham, there are only 2 of them left in the bundesliga :rockman:

They should buy Metzelder, he will leave Dortmund on a free transfer after the season anyway so he would be cheap.

But tonight they're getting their asses kicked by Osasuna with a defensive lineup consisting of Mahdavikia, Demel, Reinhardt and Klingbeil. Oh well, they can collect more points in the Uefa Cup.

I've found a great article about Bremen and the similarities to the legandary Gladbach sides of the 70s. A nice read.
