Get rid of Motson & McCoist!!!

Yeah, the commentary gets rather repetitive after a bit. Except McCoist, but only because I can't even understand him half the time. Is he breaking into Gaelic or something?

It'd be nice to include commentary from all versions of the game though, so when you play a bundesliga game you get German commentary to add to the experience ...

Haha! I'm switching between Spanish and Italian for the same reason. I don't understand a word they say, so it doesn't sound very repetetive. I agree...I've heard John Motson after all these years and I never really liked his commentary. I used to turn the sound off, but now with the different languages it's fun again.

The most annoying commentary bug is in the MLS career mode (maybe it's in others too). About 9 weeks into the season, the announcers will crown you league champion even if you're not top of the table. Then, everytime a shot goes wide or the GK allows one to get past they always reference the league champions as "not minding so much since they've already secured the championship" (or something like that).

In World Cup 98 in World Cup mode if a goalkeeper made a good save it would sometimes say "Great save by (insert name here)".
It would also say something like "(insert name here) scores!" if a player scored. World Cup 98 was one of the best.

If your fast for the game, you can make Moston say silly things. If your gameplay is faster, you can make a tackle, then release the ball and he's like 'great tack ohh and he's scored' LOL and as your going to kick off he says a load of about the build up and stuff then you take the guy out and he's like 'that's surely a booking!' Another silly thing I think is that Moston says the most idiodic things like 'Oh it's not like the old says now, the game is a lot more advanced' Why say unique things that knowone ever says? Why not leave comments out of the computer game which isnt efficient, I think even if they got Mr Gray and Mr Tyler, they'd still make them say silly things, most commentators arent up to scratch, e.g Pro Evolution Soccer. These elements in the game need to be improved. It's alright getting Ronaldinho Henry and Allesando on the front cover and paying them lots of money, but why not concentrate on areas of the game that need to be improved? It would make the game so much better. COME ON FIFA YOU CAN MAKE THE ULTIMATE GAME!

I got tired of Motson and McCoist, and so I got my countries best football commentator, Jorge Perestello, for FIFA 2004.

The game became more alive with his words, that guy's a real laugh to hear.

Although having a few different commentators for different games would be nice, heck, it would be GREAT! But we all know thats not going to happen I think they should stick with motson!

Moston and Mcoist are not that bad in real life but whoever is chosen to commentate will always have to say silly catchphrases which arent even funny! I think it should be sky's team. Mainly because Sky show all the football, people will be used to Andy Gray and Martin Tyler, but Moston's ok in real life it's just they should cut out the silly words!

Everyone who disses fifa, play it on World Class do a whole season, u'll be amazed

the best EA comentary was for fifa1999. The comentaries were more realistic e.g 'GREAT SAVE BY SCHMEICHEL!' or 'YORKE SCORES!' The comentaries were by that sane john motson and Mark Laurensen

Get in Clive Tyldesley and Ron Atkinson Ron makking his quirks and Clive to add to the atmosphere motson is crap
