Getting Freddy Adu into 4.1.3

I think I may have found (by accident) a way to get Adu into a game started with version 4.1.3. I started a game with Wimbledon with version 4.1.1 with an edited database (I put my roomates and me in the game) and then after saving I installed 4.1.3 to at least have some of the fixes without having to lose Adu.

Well, I messed something up and had to restart so instead of re-installing the original version I just went into the editer and made a copy of Adu and created a new game. When I got to my team, I noticed that I had two Freddy Adus.

It might be that because I had edited the database before I installed the patch, the filter that takes him out of the game did not work, but I am not sure. Also, I had put Adu on my team with the editer so that may have been the case as well.

Either way, I know it is not a big deal but I just thought I would put this out there to see if anyone else could duplicate the results.

Some of the bug fixes that come with the patches wont be there if u start a game without version 4.1.3 The best thing u cn do is instal patch 4.1.3 and then create a new player with the same stats/name etc.
The game uses original Adu player ID to filter him out of the game. The new player will have a different ID so.... :)

It was only the first time that I started the game and editted the database that I was using 4.1.1.

The second time I started the game and when I created a copy of Adu, 4.1.3 was already installed, but it did not filter the real Adu out as it was supposed to because I had both the real and the copy on my team.

Sorry if my other post confused you.

Strange. It seems to happen more often, as people on the SI boards have been telling the story of Adu being in the game, after they contracted him to some team (in the editor).

No idea what has triggered this.
