Rossi from Man U? That kid is a joke... way overrated. I was at the Dallas Cup when he was here with the U-20 Man U team this spring. He played every game and wasn't even one of the best 10 players on the pitch. The guy scored a goal of a PK and that's just about all the impact he had. The local Texas teams played way better than Man U and Real Madrid, and the majority of players outshined his ass. Sorry, but I find it a joke that Sir Alex Ferguson thinks he can be Ruud's replacement as a center forward, according to SoccerNet.

i said the whole Rossi thing as a joke, seeing as most of these threads turn out as a comparison of incomparible players anyways.

Coon: tbh i'd rather take the judgement of SAF and many other respected figures within football in that Rossi is destined for greatness. And the fact that he's been completely ripping shreds out of the Reserves League and is more than on his way to taking the step up.

Rossi's record in the reserves is something ridiculous like 53 goals in 53 games or something? Can't remember where I read that..

But as I said, it's to hard to judge how "great" a player is/will be come until he plays at the highest level.

Our team was not that bad where they? I believe it was the Juvenil A that went there ( which had Mata and Bueno who are both part of the Spain U19 team that plays in the Final today ).

First Season: "netting 13 times in his first 19 starts. He also bagged a further five goals in eight Pontin’s League games and helped the Reserves claim an unprecedented Quadruple in his first season."

Second Season: "He netted an incredible 30 times in as many games as the Reds' second string sealed the Treble".

he isnt brazilian ; his father is brazilian and his mother mexican; he was born and raise in mexico before going to spain; he hasnt ever been to brazil for that matter he is 100% mexican ; he doesnt even have a portuguese accent; but i do agree he is going to do wonders for mexico; tought he already started by winning the sub17 WC.

This kid does have a bright future ahead of him... so does the Mexican natl team for that matter. With all the players being sold to Europe, Giovanni at Barca, Carlos Vela the U-17 golden boot, Guardado, and the rest of the U-17 world champions ganining experience in Mexico (specifically Araujo and Esparza at Chivas and a few others like Moreno at Pumas, Villaluz and Andrade at Cruz Azul). Plus all the other young players coming out, like Landin at Pachuca, Olvera at Santos Laguna, Valadez and Castillejos at Toluca.

Mexico's future is VERY bright. (H)
