I have to agree with the first poster.

The demo was much more special to play, so much so that i left my opinions in the " first impressions " thread about a month ago.

However since purchasing the game, I have to change my view.

The passing for me is terrible, i'm losing almost every match on only 3 stars. mainly because i get so frustrated that a simple tap bullets the ball over the ball, u feel every pass is a chore, The through balls just travel to far, taking a player one on one does not feel so controlled like before and the fouls are worse (Something i never thought i would say)

and little bits like missing crowd for me is too unrealistic for me.

however .... with the ONLY other new option is to play fifa " cringes " i've taken the game back, and gone back to pes4. in which i can play on 6 stars, and feel like a nice realistic match.

my opinion

well at least the game is challenging now and you really do enjoy when you score cause it's so much harder than before. Today I played a World Cup with Germany and in a game against Saudi Arabia which I thought would be a walk in the park I had to wait for the single goal for 84 mins and when I was almost giving up came Schneider with a free kick... :rockman:

I've learned to play with this new foul system and it works just fine and if theres a stupid foul you get angry as the real players do.
What I do miss is more yellow cards for the computer and that KONAMI (or someone else with adequate knowledge) would make the players last a little longer than two games in a row (or is Chelsea resting Lampard every other game?). I don't mean editing their stamina but to decrease the speed the players get exhausted in general. I've been whining about this before but this really is the ONLY real flaw in this game now...

There's no going back to PES4 for me anymore...

The only option for me is to find a way to get the gameplay from the demo exe, inserted in the full game exe.

Is there anyone that's a good hex editor on here?

I mean, if we know which part in the demo exe is the gameplay section, then we could hex edit the fullgame exe to match!!

Surlely this coud be possible? If anybody knows how, let me know!!

Cheers

I wan't my money back as this plays nothing like the demo did.

What the hell are konami doing? :kader:

I can't get any passing moves going without there being someone up my arse straight away and the cpu is faster and always wins loose balls, now this didn't happen in the demo, and what happened to being able to turn away from a player? No bloody more your not.

The demo was slicker and made you feel like you'd accomplished something. The throughballs were better and everything felt just right, so i'm disgusted to find how bad this plays over a period of time, it's almost like pes3. :nape:

I've given it a chance and it's got me screaming at the screen as the cpu gets away with yet another blatant foul, then I get called up on nothing straight after.

The crowd missing is shocking, the commentry is some of the worst i've heard on any game, and they think they've gone forward, well they have gone to far for me now.
And the magazines that gave it 5 out 5, are obviously blind, unless they got a beta version.

If your thinking about getting a footie game, wait till next year as this just isn't enjoyable as the demo was. (N)

This game is awsome...u need a reality check...its even better than i hoped...

Maybe to you, but the players still feel sluggish, and the short passing is hopeless compared to the demo, otherwise the rest of the game is fantastic, the shooting is harder and not as fast as the demo which is how it should be, but i'm pi**ed off with what I thought was perfect gameplay in the demo, then buy the game and find that it's changed for the worse.

The players were made slightly more sluggish because it was far too easy to dribble on the last game. I ran through whole teams numerous times on PES4

It's ok solved the problem by editing the short pass and responsive settings on the players i was using, now it plays so much better so i'll just shut up :fool:

I thought some peepz wanted PES to be challenging, well it is now and some peepz are complaining, if you can't play it then stop playing it, it is as simple as that, I love the game, you have to work hard to get your goals and I like it that way, in real football you don't see that every pass or through ball is perfect or that every attempt you make to score a goal goes in the back of the net, I don't mind the empty seats, I don't concentrate on it during a match.
And about the fouls, if you time your tackless the ref won't stop the game, you can't press blindly on the button to tackle otherwise you end up kicking your opponent, through balls work perfectly for me, I know when to give them or not, it is all about timing

We all had a few teething problems to start off.

Keep playing, i guarantee it'll click, took me a few days but it was worth the graft.

This pretty much sums it up.

Stop playing the game like PES4 is the simple rule. Stupid people will bitch about the game where as smart players will work on their game.

Another good comment. With patience and use of strategy, this game is a dream come true.

So Nuno when did u receive your game?I ordered from game.co.uk too but it's not here yet :(

I ordered and paid for my copy at game.co.uk, and it hasn't arrived for me yet, either. But I am playing the full version. :amika:

How and why you ask? Well, you can get whatever you want on the internet and I'm way too impatient for shipping. (6) It's perfectly legal to download a game as long as you've already paid for it.

i think this is the best football game ever!

it's harder than the previous PES and plays totally different, in the beginning i was like...wtf my passes don't go as well anymore and i can't dribble past anyone.
but after a couple of games i started to get the hang of it.
i now play on 6 stars with my ML team, and beat every team i come across, i can dribble past 1 or 2 opponents and my passes are perfect.

believe me, it's all in the timing.
when you want to pass don't pass behind you because with a twist and pass it's bound to go wrong.
also tackles need precision and timing, don't just tap the pressure button because you'll get a foul, wait for the right moment.

I'm really loving this game, tomorrow I'll get the PC version and I'll finally play against some great human players (my friends don't qualify for great :D)

are you playing with cheap players/ML defualt players? Ofcourse their passing is worse. You just need to upgrade your team. The demo had the best teams in the game lol.

How big is YOUR penis?
This **** feels WAAAAAAYYYYYY TOOOOOO REEEEEAAAAAALLLLLL for a game, it should not be called a sim anymore :|:|:|

Seriously, this new PES is totally take the ball off from your feet, it actually feels like trying to control a real ball, with its unpredictable bounces on the surface, etc.

Hard time to learn this, I'm playin' like ****s in this game, but I'll manage . . .
