Yep Baines is better....He is definately better then Evra...Baines control on the ball is good and his crosses are also very accurate...and plus he can take excellent FK's...

Yeah, I like both Cole and Evra a lot, but if I could go back to the draft I would pick Baines. He was at least on par with them last year and is currently better. I think Cole and Evra can, on occasion, put on a better match, but Baines is the best left-back in the league right now. If he were at a better team where the opposition cannot afford to alter their tactics to contain him specifically, he would be immediately considered the best LB in the world.

With the very poor Benfica midfield that Witsel and Javi Garcia left behind, he had to step up as a central man to them and has rather succeeded (it IS the Portuguese Liga though). That was a very good goal though, although the rest of the game he was kind of muffled by Porto's midfield and shouldn't have finished it - the ref decided to not send him off. He's good, I don't think he'll ever be Chelsea material though.

That's good then, I think we gave him away for David Luiz, I was disappointed but if he's not going to reach the level it's all good.
