Going to Manchester

Andreas

Senior Squad
So I'm finally going to Manchester to see United play Arsenal September 17th. Never been there before, and besides Old Trafford, I don't know anything there.

So the question is, has anyone else here been there? What should I see/do on the three days I'll be there?

I've never been there, but here's a pretty obvious routine for ya. You watch the game, then hit bars and clubs afterwards, sleep in during the day, and do the same again at night.

Allright, but we're going to be there two days before the game, so I want to fill them with something ;)

Urrrm Manchesters not exactly a glamorous to go, especially if you're with your kids. With a bunch of lads it'll be a laugh, like someone said just hit one of the Mancurian bars (make sure its the red side not the blue) an relax.

you should pop over the pennines to Sheffield :D

Nah, just the Trafford Centre, which is pretty excellent... Or you could go to Granada Studios and stand on Coronation Street :D

Wow that must of felt like a kick in the teeth (:/) I'd make the trip up north just to meet Fred. True Corrie Legend.

Not that I watch it, mind. :$

Get down the M62 to Liverpool to see the European Cup you won in '99.

Haha (H)

Only time I went to Manchester (for an Off the Wall concert) we had our car windows smashed by chavs. So I'd say arm yourself to the teeth for the residents of Manchester.
