Hi,

Good news is that everything has now been completed and the final patch is now being tested for any small bugs we might find.

Hopefully (major problems aside) the patch will be ready and available for download sometime next week.

We only have one mirror at present but the patch will also be uploaded onto Usenet.

Anyway, heres some detailed info about the contents of the patch:

- correct as of end of season 02/03
- correct formations, starting lineups, captains and kickers
- correct teams colours - so fans are correct colour

Yes you need achip, its a update by fans 4 fans its nothing official

Welcome to the tribe.

To answer your questions.

There are venues on the Net where you can find/purchase We6:Fe.

All the patches are made by the very talented and dedicated WE fans and are free downloads from any of the posted links.

To play a patched version here are two things that you can do.

1:> Have a no swap Mod Chip fitted/soldered to the specified points inside of the Ps2 Console. Usually a no swap current Magic *.* Mod Chip or a 'I think' Messiah mod Chip.

2:> This option is used by quite a few of the guys who use this Forum -- The 'Knife Trick' in conjunction with either a Gameshark or the Action Replay Cartridge depending on what type of Console you are using. IE:> Usa/Ntsc or Euro/Pal.

Thanks for the help guys, will the chip affect my ps2 in any way? I have also heard of a 'flip top lid' will this allow me to run WE:FE? Also how would i apply the patch?

About fitting a mod chip into your ps2, well all i can add to your question about the mod chip effecting your ps2, i know quite a few guys who have played backups via the ps2 for a couple of years with the older mod chips, and have had no problems at all with thier consoles, so we could assume that the newer mod chip versions should be even better and more secure and stable.

The premium chips are the Magic 3/4 or the latest Messiah no swap chips.

This looks like a cool patch. The screenshots look good.
I have'nt bothered trying the WEdoIT 3.0 patch or the WEndetta
because I already have the Dynamo patch which is really good.

But now to get an English-league patch is fantastic. !!!

Yes, if you follow that thread you should find all the info about patching and making an image of the Cd via Cdrwin, or Nero. etc,etc. -

If it's a *.*.ppf file it will be very easy to patch via the ppf patcher, but the *.*.Afp ones are a tad more involved.
