Actually i dont really know what each of the adboard bins in the afs represents. Your CL adboard bin is st_kb_tc_esp.bin. so what does st_kb_tc_esp.bin mean? how about st_kb_tc_eng.bin? st_kb_tc_adikon.bin?

rename st_kb_tc_XXX to:
st_kb_tc_deu (deutschland version)
st_kb_tc_esp (Spanish version)
st_kb_tc_eng (English version)
st_kb_tc_fra (french version)
st_kb_tc_ita (italian version)

and in the graphic studio the three first slots are front, and the other two are the goals adboards.

How can i install these wider adboards in WE8i? Although all the st_kb_tc_eng etc. files are present i think i'm right in saying the boards displayed are in st_kb_tc_we8u.bin and st_kb_tc_we8um.bin. These only have two slots in Graphic Studio rather than the five that st_kb_tc_eng etc. have. Is there any way of modifying this? Sorry if this has been covered before.

that shouldn't be in st_kb_tc_eng.bin
in st_kb_tc_we8u.bin & st_kb_tc_we8um.bin instead
i just simply import into them
i dunno which one exactly

That means if I change the st_kb_tc_eng one, in all the matches i play with English clubs i will see those adboards?

The files don't refer to which club teams you play with it has to do with languages. The extentions on the end are for each language. For example, you download new Serie A adboards and import them into st_kb_tc_eng. The adboards will stay the same FOR ALL STADIUMS AND TEAMS, no matter what. So if you decide to play with English clubs, you'll still have the same Serie A adboards in each stadium. To change adboards, you MUST change the language :)
