Graphic Making/Editing - Where To Begin

First, is there any tutorial that explains in detail how you make balls and stuff, what tools you use?. I have tried searching but haven't found anything that explains where to begin to a complete Noob. :innocent_smile_1:

I want to make balls, kits and other stuff. I don't want only to just download them and use them. I want to create them myself and may be become a contributor as well.

So If anyone would kindly link me to a tutorial or spend a little of his/her time to give an overview of the whole procedure of making stuff, it would be really helpful. At the moment I am feeling lost. :icon_spin:

Wher to begin? The tools required? An other suggestions?

for one we could start by creating our thread in the correct forum, secondly reduce your signature size, it is breaking the forums rules.

you will need photoshop and a template, you are on your own getting photoshop, you can export textures from the game and make a template from the png files you export.

only thing i can tell you is after you get photoshop i suggest you learn to use the pen tool.

you have various types of programs, with various ways of working.

when i edit i like to edit to play with same adboards & balls in all games. so i have this:
photoshop to edit image files of my balls and adboards
graphic switcher 12 (it works with 13 with balls and adboards)
creation master 12 to see what im doing in ball edition

@Regularcat - Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

I have PS c6, hope this would do. I'll learn about the pen tool now. Can you please explain extracting textures And making templates? What is the exact purpose of doing this?

@Kurlboy - Thanks for the info friend. Would like if you can briefly explain the whole procedure, step by step. Will be really helpful to get an overview of the procedure.

export a kit texture for example using cm 13 beta or rx3 master then open it in photoshop and simply follow the outline of the kit making yourself a template, same applies to just about every other graphic in game.
