I think the 2 Vieri screenshots sum it all up perfectly. I've always thought the FIFA players skin was a little 'messy' and blurry'; what I really meant was they all look like burns victims.

i think youre right, pro_too. looks like ronaldo is about to trip rivaldo. but whatever, thats no huge deal.

as for fifa, ive never played 2004 (tried 2002 and i ended up erasing it in anger and ive never looked back), so i cant judge its graphics, but theres another thing i wanted to say about that vieri pic...his head looks so off that it reminds me of those fake celebrity nude pics, where they take someone like Sarah Michelle Geller's head and put it on the body of some skank willing to pose nude. anyway, the point is, it looks WAY off.

anyone else think so?

Vieri looks as if he's just been released from the burns ward at Milan Hospital. PES3 graphics are much much better than FIFA's cartoons. Models are better,movements, graphics and gameplay by miles...is there really any comparison?

My friends,
I used to play FIFA, because i prefer the PC to play, let´s just say that i have a console problem... they are somewhat useless...
But now i got my dear PES3, and i must say, if the players like look those in the Spectrum 128K (i know that some of you remember that, the older ones maybe) all the same, no Vieri or Figo, just a body with a ball on the to that's the head, only 8 colors, i still prefer to play PES just because it is soccer and no what Fifa pretends to be (i don't know what's that, pinball maybe but still bad pinball).

Even if the graphics of pes are better (i think fifa graphics are better though), i'd rather see smooth less beautiful graphics than beautiful graphics that don't move like in pes3.
Pes3 is just too slow. And i think the gameplay is better if it would run fast, but now it isn't.

slow? If you wanna talk slow then let's talk about Fifa2004 where the response times are so lethargic it feels like you're playing in slow motion :rolleyes:

In PES3 u are NOT playing in slow motion if u have a good PC :) FIFA has more and, usualy better designed faces. Not all faces tho, if we had better designed faces in PES, with this graphics engine, i'm sure they'd look better

Yo, fifa's graphics suck biatch's balls. They're ugly and unrealistic. Overall, they don't compare to PES3.

well, PES doesn't use renderware anymore, if you mean that.

to me overall PES graphics are much crisper than FIFAs (you can almost distinguish every visitor in the stadium compared to FIFAs blur) and say what you will: the FIFA players are still too stocky and "on steroids"... it seems EA can't produce any lanky players (such as Henry)....

that said: PES players all look a tad too japanese to me... plus they all seem to have the same, broad, Salihamidzic-like shoulders...

that particular screenshot of ballack, btw, is not really a good sample to show off PES graphics prowess.. he looks horrible, imo... needs his eye-lids fixed...
