I had alot of fun playing fifa 03, always had low scores, and even tho the gameplay wasn't that good, it was lightyears ahead of this beta release of 04

Well, im not fussed what anyone says, but im really enjoying Fifa04 at the moment. Although, i am finding it hard locating certain features through the menu system. Its a bit confusing to say the least, but that shouldnt detract too much from how much better this game is over 03. Well done EA.

I don't think FIFA will ever go the way of 2003 again. This year they have definitely improved a lot of stuff and despite what some people say I think it's better gameplay wise than the 98 version. It has gameplay issues but then that's not the games main strength. I think if Konami suddenly purchased all the official licenses then EA would step up the commitment to gameplay a little more.

Still, for those people who have been waiting for ten years to be Cambridge United, this is the biggest dream come true and I for one don't blame them for embracing that opportunity.

I received my copy of FIFA 2004 this morning- at last!! I've downloaded the patch, and I'll install the game shortly.

Now... let's see what all the fuss is about...

LOL! Wolf.

The creation of the football world in FIFA is outstanding, but the gamplay is low and unresponsive. Why does the CPU hit the post so much to make sure it doesn't score?

Also, the back on their own penaly box when the cpu breakway.

It will take a seriously talented gameplay editor to sort this out to be honest.

My fingers are crossed that a PES editor will create a patch to replicate FIFA's kits, competetions, names etc for PC
