Well, said, I know that I have said a LOT about v1.34, but that's becuase I didn't want you guys to loose interest, as it HAS been long to get it out and it WILL be released today!
Did I go round buming my last updates? Nope (well maybe I kept you informed on what they had to offer!
) and that's because you guys didn't have to wait long, you know, you could decide for yourselves, but it has taken AGES to get v1.34 complete! It was just to keep you guys hyped, that's all.Thanks,

Thanks nick. But I am starting to get a little sick of your HALF-SPAM 
as well, but you have just cause for it.
I mean deadman has a news-based site where he can SPAM all he likes, but you don't, so the forum is the only real way to tell the gamers, which is understandable. Fair enough deadman posting once, but over and over is just crazy, and he never accepts the people may not like his patches. Also I hate the fact he USES CAPS LOCKS ALL THE TIME!!

Early review of Destruction 3.0 gameplay

After the first half of my first game as Leeds against Middlesbrough, I was ready to annoint you king. It was 1-0 at halftime, with Fowler scoring off a mad scramble in the box on a shot that with v1.33 would have sailed into the stands. But my excitement waned as the game carried on as Leeds players were roaming through gobs of space (I was playing this game on Amateur normal...I use a keyboard, y'know) and firing worm burners at will. Most were finding the net or the keeper...and yes, some were rolling wide...finished 5-0.
So, I moved up to professional normal..which for me using 1.33 is about as high up as I can go...I usually finish 50-50 in games played against the computer. Decided to play England against Andorra...just to work out a few of the bugs. REsult was a 2-1 loss for England. Simply no way to pass for England...no one-twos...the Andorese(?) were hanging on every offensive player...and firing at will from all over the park, albeit not successfully until there was the obligatory 40-yard lob...followed by my only move of th eday...a 60yard run by Owen that he finished with a full power blast...that rolled past the keeper. I was then treated to a six minute kickabout in the Andorra end. I finally stopped chasing, and eventually they lurched forward....to score on a 30-yard laser beam into the top corner from th right corner of the box.
And so it went for the six other games I played. I played at professional normal...and would get outshot 22-3...losing 3-1 with the CPU team owning a 70-30 advantage in possession. On the amateur level, I'd win 5-0 outshooting the opposition 12 to 7...and although they opposition would always have chances...and fire in good shots...they never scored.
In the eight games I played, I was fouled twice...with an ejection both times. I slide tackled several times..with only one ejection...no yellow cards.
Deadman...it's a pretty good patch...but the ball is heavy on the player shots...and the defense is just too tight on the professional level. I do like the way the computer team builds...when it decides to come forward...and some of the better teams were very aggressive on offense...but there is simply no way to move the ball on the offense we control. I also think you need to bring the fouls up...and allow the goal keeper to blast the ball downfield when you need him to.
It is just a beta, so hopefully I have given you enough informaiton to work to improve it. Keep going. As I say, allpatch makers are kings!
Now, I have a question...how do I uninstall your patches? I've been trying to get 2.0 off my system most of the past two days to go back to v1.33, and I can't. Iwas only able to get rid of 2.0 when I installed the 3.0 patch. A little help please in exchange for this review? Thanks a lot...keep up the good work!

mutiger - Isnt it cool - when the cpu forces you to stop chasing them and then they suddenly build up the attack rather than the darmn 1.2s over and over and over and over agian before just shooting a fake sh0ot into the net! Once you get used to it, you'll just LOVE it! To uninstall the update, just copy all the user files from your fifa2002 cd and to uninstall the gameplay patch simply deltree the soccer from your fifa2002 folder and rename the oldsoccer to soccer! Simple!

Anwya, mutiger, the defence is tight and now it is more njoyable to break them apart, and the cpu DOES play a few 1-2s which will really break your defence up. Now, i have changed the shooting in such a way that cpu scores more one-on-oneS!

Yes...it is a good patch!

Please don't think I don't like your patch. I think for those who play ISS...and who really have the time to work at playing FIFA...this will really be the kind of test they're looking for. As I mentioned in the other posts...the balls I shoot are very heavy...there's not ever much lift or power. And then there's the 40 and 50 yard bombs that usually aren't built up to, they just come out of nowhere. Those are about the only things I'd change.
And yes, I really didn't mind when Andorra held th eball for six minutes...that's the way they would play in a game against England...totally realistic! I think I could have cracked them if I could have had a better offense myself...but as I say...since I use a keyboard and only play once a day...I'm really not that skillful at working the ball around.
