3-1 to Turkey. Greece had numerous chances when it was 2-1. two long range goals by Gokhan Unal and Tumer Metin. I really dont know whats with Nikopolidis, he should have saved them.


But happily, he didnt (H)

despite throwing items to Turkish keeper Volkan during the match, Greece supporters gave a standing oviation for Turkey at full time. Good sportsmanship there (Y).

Seitaridis was booed during the second half.

Norway was also beaten tonight. Turkey now has a great chance for opening the gap should they beat Norway on Wednesday.
