finally someone else sees this....he's not fat, he's just not match fit.
youd think it was rocket science :nape:

Yeah that is ! Ronaldo did quite a good match versus Australia and i am sure he would atlest score the 3 goals he need the top scorer in all time world cup.

hey kibe

I'm not saying that brasil is playing bad and the country is chaotic atm. I agree with that. "football is people's opium", yeah.
but in other hand, that does not justify what I some times see from you, seeming to support our oponents. If brasil got knocked out in group stage things wouldn't be better here. maybe lula wouldn't get reelected... but my point is: football is not the reason why the country is like this, it actually makes people happy, which is good. too bad they forget some more important issues (:/)

No, not really. He wasnt good at all. He was better than he was against Croatia and showed signs of improvement. But good, naw. I would say he was average at best.

Yup, football is not the reason the country is like this. but imho it's one of the reasons it won't change.

feels like people call him fat just because its the cool thing to say, BTW people who think hes fat post a recent picture

To be fair though, there's another pic of him in the Brazilian NT thread where he seems to be much skinnier.

honestly , realy ask your self how is that fat or fatso as you put it i just dont see fat i see muscle, plus i really dont want skinny light weights on the team/ or heavy weights (fatso) for that matter.
Maybe you linked the wrong picture?

No, I didn't. I did just what you told me. People who call him fat should post a picture, correct? I did that. If you think if that's fat, muscle or just love handles, that's not really my problem.

Oh, and so far, Robinho (skinny light weight) > Ronaldo.

you seem to have linked a wrong pic though. Sig too big...

Anyways, if you think I have a problem with Ronaldo being fat, I don't. I'm fat myself. I do have a problem with him being lazy (imho, he is. some may say he's just not match fit, which is also an opinion I respect.)

Robinho is talented/came on great as a sub and i agree he is skinny but his working on that i think hes gained 15 to 20lbs more muscle from last season witch made him even better sky is the limit but still i dont want a bunch of Robinho sized players facing big phisical defenses, IMHO Ronaldo deserves a chance to prove match fittness at least till knockout stages for all hes done for brasil and futebol.
where is the love handles on that picture?, BTW curious about why Robbie Fowlers and not Steven G

I agree with you there. I think a striker partnership between a big player and a small one works better. Adriano and Robinho at the moment. Ronaldo's done a lot to Brazil, but he's not playing well enough. It's tough on Robinho. Coming on and doing well, yet never starting a match.

Never said there were any in that picture.

Personal preference. I did have a Gerrard sig before though.

I would say Ronaldo got provoked, and then he dissed the president. And oh boy, he did it in style. (H)

Haha, yes he did. Brilliant response from Ronaldo.

About Ronaldo being fat, well there is a reason why people are saying that. He's bigger than most players and regardless of whether it's muscle or whatever he's well above his ideal playing weight; since he's also been playing lazy people assume he's fat. But he is too heavy, when he was at his best he was probably 20-25 pounds lighter (World Cup 2002) and when he was younger he may have been a full 40 pounds lighter. As you gain weight it's difficult to keep your speed and grace, and clearly Ronaldo has lost some of that.

Why Fowler? He was a LEGEND at Anfield! Fowler and Owen baby, great duo.
