This game rocks so much beautiful juicy ass man!! I got Guitar Hero II yesterday, got a second guitar to go with the one in the pack and I've been having a ******* blast over the last 48 hours. It's amazing how much fun this game is. It blows DDR out of the water. I just hope that some day they will be able to add AC/DC, Led Zep, Metallica and the likes (maybe even some Pink Floyd or Queen) but wow how freaking awesome. Most fun I've had playing videogames since I first started to play them (Duck Hunt back in like 92 or something )

Brilliant stuff indeed... bought the lot back in November, and I am now "Sweet Child O'Mine" King.

You should get GH1 there some great tracks in it (like Queen's "Killer Queen")

The intro to Sweet Child O'Mine is killer. Free Bird is pretty f*ckin hard too although I got 81% in medium on my first try which I thought was pretty good

- Actually yeah you can use the controller... but it totally defies the whole point!!

- I personaly do play guitar but I don't think you necessarily need to know how to play guitar, just a question of practice... some of them are hard as hell on expert though!!

I don't think knowing how to play guitar helps you at all for Guitar Hero. And being good at Guitar Hero definitely doesn't make you better at actual guitar.

Holy crap, I had just logged on to make a thread about this very subject.

I've had it for about 2-3 weeks now, and I've just unlocked Free Bird within the last 20 minutes. God, it's so much fun to play.

Now, I've got to keep practicing, so that I can 5 star all of the songs and give Expert a try. Sadly, it'll probably take me months, as I can't play it too often, and I don't want to Zumaya myself anyhow.

oh same here, i play it when i'm supposed to sleep. like right now for example, i work at 9am which means i have to wake up at 8am which is in 4.5 hours. i've been out all night and now i'm on sg and playing GH

I love my life.

I play Frets on Fire, which is the PC rip-off of Guitar Hero. Quite cool aswell and most of all free to use!

^ huh interesting... I have a PS2-PC adapter, so can I just plug my GH guitar to play that?

Edit: Wikipedia says "Yes" ... any good songs on that?
