This great news (assuming it's solid). However i sux that we get WE6. If we could get WE6FE that would be great. It would make more sense also. However, WE7 is coming out around that time, we will not get a WE7 game in March. We'll see, we'll see

I am pumped but at the same time, yes, I do hope Konami don't continue their stupidity and give us WE6 - a US version of WE6:FE or better yet WE7 released around that time would have me spilling tears of joy. I would have a contest to see how far I could throw that bloody GameShark 2 CD.....

I think its believable, I mean how long is a capitalistic company gonna keep profits away from themselves like retarded goats? They know there is cash to be made here in the States.

ANd personally, I dont give a ***k if its WE6-alpha we get, lol, as long as it is an upgrade over WE2002 which is what I have been playing for so damn long...

WE7 would be great but I have a feeling that it will be PES 2.5. The game is in english so they wouldn't have the work of doing the language and the like.

Howeve you don't know.

Now if only Komami would work on real leagues. :)

Konami hardly ever make official announcements anyway, and since they are actually quoting persons saying it will be released in the US, it seems quite certain that it will in fact be released next year.

I doubt they'll convert and sell WE6 to an American audience almost a year after the Japanese got it though. Maybe it'll be another series from WE and PES.

Don't get your hopes too high yet though: Its probably not gonna be by KCET, and it might be WE: MLS...with altered **** gameplay. Probably not, but u know we here in the states always get screwed.

I don't think it's gonna be MLS teams again since from the past selling in ESPN MLS ExtraTime (PS2/KCEA) and ESPN MLS GameNight (PSone) have been so low. Not to mention, Konami cancelled out ESPN MLS ExtraTime 2002 (PS2) last May due to that.

It's time for us to get our turn !!

I think it is good news for N-American gamers who don't have WE6 or PES2. (which could be the majority)

But I already have WE6 with the rhapsody patch. If Konami America are going to release a re-packaged version of WE6, then I am not going to buy it.

It took Konami Europe about 5 months after WE6 to release PES2. If Konami America need another 5 months to repackage WE6 with English translations, they can might as well just use the Rhapsody patch and finish it in few days :crazyboy:

I really hope Konami America tries to use the engine of a later version rather than WE6. That would be awesome.

I'd be happier with the PES2/JLWE6 engine, despite it's faults PES2's game engine is unquestionably superior to that of WE6 the only problem comes from the rediculous stats for the top players & teams.

there's no additional information; they just rehash the news release that's been floating around on sgn and operation sports.

btw: this is my first post. news like this, for an american like myself, is reason to come out of the shadows. i've been playing the psx version of pes for months now via an emulator. i now have an excuse to buy a ps2! happy day...

and yeah, I know I could've bought a ps2 and modded/knife tricked it, but i've been chicken...
