ok this is also something big missing from fifa, handballs - i know that it would be fairly difficult to implement this into the game, but please, EA, gie it a go, but DONT make it happen too often or it could get pretty annoying after a while!!

the only type of handball i wanna see is if the goalie accidentally handled outside of the area because he was off balance.

how about we have wrong decisions on fouls, or goals that were over the line etc. make it more controversal

If they can't get the AI to let you header the ball I don't think hand to ball or ball to hand collision mapping will be happening anytime this decade with EA.

handballs are very hard because they would have to be random.. which eventually will piss you off

Look man I understand your frustration and that you have legitimate request to make.....but do yourself a favor and do what I did...........buy WE6 international, come into the light and leave FIFA alone....I used to post endless request like yourself, but it is to no avail......so join the light

i have WE international, but only competition will keep games getting better, and just because you enjoy one game, does not mean we dont want fifa to get better

FIFA needs to get better to keep pushing Konami on to greater things. It may not work the other way round but still, as long as something spurs the market to produce better and better games it's good for us. We need competition even if it is unequal.

Yup. All i can say is that, Fifa is getting closer. Hopefully, they won't remake the game for fifa 2004, and have a seperate game for euro 2004, fifa 2004.

Honestly, I would prefer:

FIFA Football: UEFA Euro 2004

Then in the game, you have standard world cup, euro 2004, champions league..etc.

Sound great? Because for me, I would probably skip fifa 2004 and get euro 2004 since it's always the improved version. It'll be great to get a 2-in-1.

You really think FIFA is getting closer?

Personally I think FIFA is getting further away. True the graphics are great (close up but from a distance they suck when you zoom out) but the gameplay was worse than ever this year. Konami is total control, FIFA isl imited and getting less control.

I don't think EA have ever been further away from Konami than they are at this point in time.

yes, the 'ball don't stick to feet' and passing made the game pretty good.

and i think fifa's graphics sucks.
The reason i don't play fifa is you can't head the ball. The very basic function in football.

why the **** dont they make a simple patch to head the ball??
EA got a big head, if people just read more game reviews and not blindly buy fifa each year, than maybe EA would listen. But it is for the mindless gamebuyers that EA can do whatever they want. They dont even listen to the community anymore!
Why should i wait for fifa2004 for some fixes, like heading the ball, shouldnt that be a standard option in a foottie game?
Im sure fifa 2004 will be just a game with some bugs fixed, when you can head a ball in fifa2004 i call it a bug fix and not an enhancement.
So actually we will be paying for something that, if EA was reasonable, had to be free. But i dont blame EA for bringing fifa2004(update for 2003) out for full price, cuz people will keep eating out of their hands(arse)
