Ughh, i have a few questions about SG:

1) What does a min do?:confused:

2) Who decides whos gona be the next mod?:confused:

3) Can I somehow change the name above my nick (in my case is also hanek45 :p)? :confused:

4) How do I attach more than 1 pic per post?:confused:

5) If I talk about P2P programs and downloading songs, can i be carded for warez? :confused: Ive been carded for warez once(didnt read the forum rules... stupid of me..), so i dont wanna repeat the same mistake :rolleyes: :$ :)

Since CSTR was brief and unhelpful in his answers (sorry for ratting ya out, but it had to be done), I'll try to be a little more indepth in answering your questions.

1. Basically a min is a very important member of the board (ex. Iceblu, Gerrard 17, Jambo Den), that is usually a mod, supermod, or admin.

2. The last time we picked mods was a year and a half ago, which was done through a secret ballot. I honestly don't know when or if we will have a mod election again, so in other words, I can't help ya there.

3. Yes, of course. Go to "User CP", then click "User Profile". In "User Profile", there is a box titled "Display Name". You can type anything you want in there, just as long as its nonoffensive. After that, click on "Submit Modifications", at the bottom of the page. Thats it!

4. Sorry, can't help ya there. I don't know EVERYTHING.

5. To be on the safe side, no, because P2P programs are filled with warez versions of popular games such as "FIFA Football 2004", and here at SoccerGaming, we do not want to promote potentially illegal activity, nor do we tolerate it. In other words, DON'T DO IT.

I wouldn't really call it a secret ballot, since everyone (as far as I remember) voted publicly in these forums, so that doesn't really constitute a "secret" ballot :)

Well, I've been here a year and half, and I still don't know what a min is. I thought I did, but I'm wrong yet again. Oh well, that's the result of drinking a six-pack of Natural Light in the space of 2 hours. As for the secret ballot, I knew the elections were public but I wanted to mislead him into thinking the mods were a invitation-only secret society that one could join only after successfully completing "The Unblinking Eye" and "The Paddling of the Swollen Ass with Paddles".

A Min is a veteran who isn't a mod, or was a mod in the past but had to retire. Not every veteran is a Min though. A Min is someone with special accomplishments in the Min field (basically being cool (H) ). Mins have secret priveleges which are otherwise availible only to mods (and chosen members).

thanks ppl, but, none of you have answerd my 3rd question :p :). To clear up the 3rd question, im gonna take Trod :p as an example: His nick or whatever it is is TROD, but my question is if theres a way to change "Yojimbo"?? In my case its also hanek45, and i wanted to see if I could change it :D:D (*i hope there is*)

English isnt my native language so i dont know if i explained well....:( Hope I did..
