Thought we could have this thread to post our gripes about FM bitching us, and how unrealistic it is

Anyway, come the end of the season (check screenshot showoff thread), this is how i finished in the 2006/7 season at Liverpool:

which i dont think is TOO bad to say i finished 1 point off first. Then, this is my board confidence:

Im also listed as insecure on job security. Is it me, or does that seem a tad harsh to anyone else?

its only cos i finished 2nd in the first year and won the CL that they're being bitchy, this is so unrealistic.

Ive finished 3rd two times in a row, while they expected me to win the EPL. With West Brom this was, in the seasons 2010/11 and 2011/2012 (I did win the CL in 2010/2011)

this not the main issue for me. i hate when your reserve team players keep moan 188093480923850 times in a season for first team chance and they always happy after you responsed with the same old answer again and again

Not harsh at all With the players that you got (I presume you still have Stevie G and Xabi), no excuses for failing to win the league.

ive won a billion billion million league titles in a row with Sydney (normally i get bored after winning the top league once or twice but not this time), and then one season i was coming third by three points with two games in hand (due to Asian CL) and the board nearly had me fired... i was very insecure ffs. I end up winning the league AGAIN, and the board was still a little disappointed. Go figure.


But that's nothing, I was fired as manager for Australia (having won the Asian Cup, 4th in WC, won Olympics) for coming third in my Confed Cup group on goal difference with Brazil and Holland (2 best countries in my game) qualifying ahead of me.

I think it can be unrealistically harsh sometimes - I was sacked late on in the season from Man Utd on the back of a 5-1 win at Birmingham and a generally good run of results. I had had a pretty dire start to the season but had really turned everything round and was heading for a top three finish, FA cup and UEFA cup success.
I moved to Berwick Rangers and stayed there for a while until a got fed up, retired and started a new game

Well it seems its swings and roundabouts on the harsh front:

Carl Medjani wanted to leave in October cos he wasnt being played, then, i played him ALL season and he still wanted to leave... so eventually his contract ran out and he was on a rolling deal, despite me offering him 60k and a 3m signing on fee to stay!

So finally, i said enough if enough and actually released him (he was pissing me off)

So then it said summet like; "liverpool have finally relesaed long term contract-rebel Carl Medjani after he rejected a new contract" which i loved.

Then i decided to try and sign him back, e.g. now you've tasted the free agency, do you actually want a club? Anyway, he came back on a 20k a week deal

The news said; "Carl Medjani has rejoined Liverpool just weeks after leaving the team", then summet about him having a change of heart

this is the stupidist thing i have ever seen on FM.

I bought Igor Akinfeev, in his first game he played a 6 as we drew 0-0 against Blackburn at Ewood Park. Blackburn had three shots on target, all saved. Akinfeev completed 22 of 27 passes (which is ok). I press continue, only to see this:
