...that the commentary, poor as always that it is, is not only worse this year, it also seems the guys have suffered a therious accident and have developed a lithp! :D

I just don't get commentaries for soccer games. Why don't they just get them to watch the game and come up with their own phrases and comments. Would be much better that way, and sound far less scripted and false.

I am getting PES3 for the PC when it comes out and I don't care that much about the commentary good or bad!

But on scripted commentary, for this years FIFA EA has thrown away the script and got there two commentators to watch real full 90min games on tape and do a runnning comentary on them. They will then use that as a base for the commentary in the game, so it will have a more natural flow to it....

Yeah, the commentary's always crap. It's a laugh at first... then I switch it off! Same with FIFA...

I wonder if the audio quality will be better for the PC version...

I always wondered why they never did that anyway! Well, atleast that's one thing about FIFA which PES has yet to emulate.

Yeah fifa commentary sucks. I was playing fifa 2002 and i had the ball in the midle of the stadium and it said nice penalty or what a goal!!! Crazy things. But i see that for example it says seitaridis or konstantinou. Great thing.

i have Brian Lara cricket for the PS. I'd had it for many years and just before buying a ps2, decided to go on the game again. Stewart was in bat with Allan Donald bowling to him, just before he released the ball, it suddenly said:

"Richardson... on a hat triccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk", and it held the 'k' on for ages before going into a kind of slury wail. lol

All very funny. the game constantly broke from then on, when i was fielding it just used to start saying that Nasser Hussain has made a double hundred or summet. lol

Spanish commentary's fun because......

a) I can't understand a word of it.....

b) they say "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!"

c) The emphasise the R's on everybody's name.

I like the Japanese commentary on WE.
Because they commentate with excitement and you dont understand a word of it so it doesnt seem repetetive.(H)

lmao!...i dont no if u had cricket 2002 on the ps2..but once it went mental on me and richie beneu (sp)...kept saying hat trick hat trick hat trick when i was batting lol!
