Havelange : "England 66 and Germany 74" were fixed

Official. Havelange (former president of FIFA) admitted that England 66 and Germany 74 were fixed to let the home nations win. It's all over TV on my south american and Korean channels
(though i cant understand wtf they say, i watch for J-league clips )

This is no shock (the 66 one). No offence to English here, but MANY in South america they dont even consider 66 as to have ever even existed. (they usually skip over it in tv discussions <unless mentioning the Argentina and Uruguay scandals) or joke around (i have a full book on "greatest cheats in football history", and awhole chap is dedicated to England 66. lol.

1974 shocks me though.
But it wasnt "Fixed" as in :"Teams took dives". He says, "factors were influenced to allow the home nations to win" (IE: calls , ref choices, group selections etc etc etc)

hiralious thing , is that every s. american i told this too completely ignored the "66" part of the article. "WTF? 74 too?".

I just saw on an argentinian futbol show and they pretty much had a "uh....how is this news?".
I think the shocking part of this is 74. Tahts one of the great world cups. And there's little "obvious" evidence of it being fixed, (unlike 66).
When I was in Germany 2006, i think the only ones who didnt know of the "66 being a joke" (even the Scots with me completely disregarded it)

well, I suppose fixing a match and scoring with a handball during the match are whole different things for the start.. you cant put these arguments in the same post to make some sense in this case..

being perfectly honest, I cant be bothered to write something about that.. but leaving huge spaces between your lines and expecting this to make a sense amongst readers was the killing factor for me..

First of all, even if this is true, it isn't the players or teams who are accused of having cheated. Whereas that Diego photo is one of the most famous and most obvious instances of a player blatantly cheating.
