Going on recent form in both test and one day games, who do you think is a better batsman, Matthew Hayden or Ricky Ponting?

Ponting can get runs on the board quicker, But Hayden can steady the ship and stay in for days. They're both the best in my book...

I think Ponting and Hayden are both in the top 4 batsmen in the world, with Tendulkar and Lara...

Lara, when in form is the unbelievable...Tendulkar is the only guy in the world who can score a double century out of form...

Ponting and Hayden are better than the rest, but not in the all our freaky catergory IMO...

Gilchrist is a hard guy to rate (esp. at the moment in the middle of a form slump) because he is so different to everyone else...But he is easily in the top 10 batsmen in the world, which is awesome for a wicket keeper....
