HEEEEEEEEEEELP !! Repairing game?

Here's the deal. I only play one game on CM with a spanish team i have brought from ashes to triumph.

I have played today, as often, and saved. As this takes ages, i just leave the game to save. Although today, i thought it was taking some time, so i did a Ctrl+Alt+Suppr. This told me CM4 (not 03-04)was not responding, so i force quit. I wanted to play again later, and what do i see : the game is messed up - a lot. The game seems to have saved partially, and, amongst other things, my game calendar is empty, and clicking on a player history freezes the game.

Is my game ruined ? Can it be restored ?
If someone can help me, please, pleeeaaase, do. I have purchased Van der vaart after ages of him rejecting my club, and i would like to play a season with him

Never do that with CM. It ofte says not responding, but in a while it will finish though. Because you quit during saving it's pretty normal your game messed up, because not everything is saved

No, it can't be fixed. Very unfortunate.

cm has always said not responding,its just loading or saving and because it takes a while the comp thinks its frozen but really it aint, bad luck for you i guess

i have found out that if you use window mode then the not responding thing comes. if you dont have it then it doesn't say that.

the amount of times ive thought it had crashed when creating a new game, it takes sooo bloody long!
