Help!! Can't generate morale for a recruit

Help me please guys,

I've scouted a young keeper to replace the retiring Coupet at Lyon and even though he's played regularly now for over two seasons his morale is still 60 and his team experience is 0. It means he keeps on making silly mistakes when a keeper of his skill who's kept plenty of clean sheets would make the saves.

Anyone got any ideas on how to get an effect on this???

yeah it doesn't seem to work, i have a feeling that for keepers who are scouted their details don't change.

I don't believe that that is true, because I scouted a young keeper in my first season at Palace and he developed and had morale and team experience that changed over time.

If this was within a single season I'd wonder whether you've fallen over a 'feature' that also existed in FIFA 2005, where the amount of space for player statistics (which is where things like fatigue, morale, form and team experience are also stored) was limited and would fill up such that new players that you signed in the January transfer window would not get statistics and would be given fixed values for fatigue, morale and form. However, if you've had this player across the start of a new season then he ought to get a statistics entry at that point, so it can't be that.

Yeah i thought that initially but it's happened with two keepers now so i've just shelled out and bought a quality 18 yr old keeper to develop.
