Ok peeps here's the deal, i play pro 5 every week without fail. And each week my friend kicks my butt without fail. I have never attempted to look for any kind of cheats or anything , to be honest i don't even know if there are any cheats for pro 5.
I don't say i have never beaten him, but he wins certainly more times than i do.
The thing is when we play he does quite a few things in the tactics screen, but he does it very quickly and i can never seem to follow what he does, but when we play i seem to never have enough time on the ball to do anything .
I know he plays pro 5 on his xbox at home, so that is why he probably is quick sorting his tactics out.
What i would like to know is is there a website where i might pick up some good strategy for playing, and also for how to setup my team.

I love pro 5 but i am getting really frustrated at not being able to beat my friend at it. So any advice would be greatly received.
After reading this post myself , it sounds very sad i know. But it is my last resort before commiting hari kari.

Well, the only advice I can give is to try my formation and tactics, they've never failed me. I must stress that this formation only really works if you've got a good left winger and a good defence is helpful although not essential if you play to a decent standard.

The formation I use is an adapted 442 diamond as follows:

-------GK-------

----CB----CB----
RB-------------LB

-------DMF------

RMF
-------SS--------
-------------------LWF
-----CF--CF-----

You need to use 'edit position' in formation settings to move the players into these positions as follows:

Move your RB, CB's and LB 2 notches up the pitch.
Move your DMF to just before the half way line.
Push the RMF up a couple of notches and out a couple too.
Move the AMF up several notches until he's just in the 'forwards zone' and change him to an SS.
Push the LMF way out onto the byline. Then push him forward so he's between the SS and CF and change him to a LWF.

Finally, go to individual and set the defence for the LWF and SS to 'low'.

Now, when you're defending the SS, LWF and CF's will stay high up the pitch meaning that if you break quickly you'll more often than not be left with a 4 on 4 situation.

2 teams that are deadly with this formation are Australia (Kewell) and Wales(Giggs) even though at face value they seem ****.
