Help Fifa 10 Pausing Error

Hi, I just got a new laptop which is supposed tu surpass by far the minimum requirements for playing fifa 10. However, the game pauses like very 15 seconds in the menus and a bit less in-game but it's still pretty anoyng. If anybody knows how to fix this please help me.

Here are my laptop specs i case you need them:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Model: HP Pavilion Dv6
Evaluation Numbers: Procesor: 6.1
RAM: 5.9
Graphics: 4.2
Game Graphics: 4.8
Main Hard-Drive: 5.9
Processor: Intel Core i3 CPU M330 @2.13 GHZ
Ram: 4gb
Tipe of system: 64 bit

aside from cpu those arent specs, those are your windows experience ratings.

& being a laptop i dont see how you have 4.8 game graphics when i have a gt 240 in my pc & dont score that high.
i doubt you have anything higher than mine in that laptop, unless its a 9800gtx or 9800gx2 in that laptop.

sorry, english isn't my mothertongue and I didn't know how to say "experience ratings". That said, those are all the actual specs and ratings, it's a brand new dv6 for high performance so I guess that's why the ratings are that high... (you can find a screenshot below)

so.... assuming it's not a problem with the performance of my machine, do you know how can I fix this? thanks.

... well in case it's the processor I'm pretty much screwed, right? I don't know which videocard I have since I don't know how to check that out; I found this though and I hope it's the videocard data.

I don't think it's the processior since I tried it in a 1.15 ghrz machine and it run smoothly. could it be de OS? Is anyone playing right with windows 7?

are you sure? as I said I tryed it in my mom's laptop which has a 1.67 ghz and windows vista and run without any issue whatsoever. obviously with lower graphics but I didn't have the issue I had with my laptop which is much more powerful...
